even wrapping the things ...as though they were presents ...
and the more ...and the more ...the man and the woman and other women did the same ...to cover the things ...that they wanted hidden ...
even to make the things look like gifts ...with bows on ...
nevertheless when all the sheets were pulled back ...all the stains upon the sheets were shown ...
and the woman who had helped before to hide the things ... fled the bed ...
and no other woman ...no not one ...would help hide the things that the many and most wanted ...wanted hidden ...
and the there was no more ...way ...to cover anything up ...
