and there was another man near him ...
even like a friend of the world ...
Now the first man ...was given to help ...in spirit and truth ...
even in the flesh ...if a way was made ...
and the first man kept a measure of matters for to help any that might receive it ...
nevertheless the second man ...seemed not to take to doings of the first man serious ...
and some youth came to the place where the first man worked ...
and somewhat tried to intimidate him ...with the evil taught them of the world ...
and some had taken the evil of the world upon them ...like they were possessed of it ...
and others of the youth only played evil ...pretended ...it ...
evenso when the first man came and looked upon the youth ...
only the youth that turned from the evil remained ...
and the first man smiled on the youth ...
nevertheless the first mans worldly friend was jealous ...
nevertheless the first man paid little attention to the jealously ...
and there came to pass that a flood came ...
and the power needed to perform the doings of the first man ...needed to looked to ...
and so the first man and his worldly friend went to look ...for to see what was the matter ...
and Behold ...the waters were rising ...in a terrible torrent ...
and the banks ...of the river were being ...being washed away ...
and the dark waters of the world (teachings) ...were full ...
even full up ...of all measure and manner of evil and vile deadly things ...
and worse ..for there were man eating ...man consuming ...gators ..hidden in the dark waters ...
and hidden so much so that only thing any could see was their eyes ...
and that... only when the gators were looking at their prey ...
and it was too late ...
and the evil dark waters boiled with the taking of souls ...by the gators ...
even as they fed upon the people ...
Now the first man and his worldly friend set off to try to help others ...
again even the first man in spirit and truth ...
and they looked more on the bank ...of the raging river ...
and behold there were children of the pagans ...and believers of lies ...playing there ...
and they played with their statues and images ...
and were all dressed up in their garments ...of the traditions of man ...
and they were doing all the things that the traditions of man had taught them ...
even singing and chanting and dancing ...
even reading books and prayers they thought were sacred and holy ...
nevertheless the first man called out to them ...to warn them ...
Yet they could not hear ...
and why ? ...because of the noise of their chanting and singing ...and praying to statues ...
and because there was a window ...between the first man ...
and them hearing ...and the window was closing ....
even the sound of the raging river drown out the calling out ...of the first man ...
evenso the first man cried out the more ...and louder ...
Yet they could not hear ...
and the children of the pagans ......and believers of lies....kept up their ceremonies ...and services ...
even as the vile dark evil river... swept others away ...
even still holding on ...more tightly ...to their statues and images and chants and songs ...
Nevertheless the first man ...needed to look to the power that kept his doings ...
and he did ...and he found that others had put something to the device ...
even something within ...within ...that the power might be corrupted ...
Nevertheless the first man ...removed the thing ...that might have corrupted the power ...
Now in that instant ...the first mans worldly friend ...thought to play a joke ...
for the first man and his worldly friend had went in the river before ...
even to try to help others ...
and so the worldly friend tripped ...the first man ...who was holding ...the device of the power ...
even that first man stumbled ...and fell into the river ...
and the first man struggled to keep the device of the power out of the vile waters ...
and he prayed mightily ...
and strength was given him ...
and the first man "in" abled to escape the deadly waters of the worldly ...
evenso ...when he looked back ...at the man that he thought was his worldly friend ...
even that one that he had spent so much time with ...
even the one who stumbled him ...thinking it was a joke ...
Now his former friends face ...had turned into the redness of Esau ...
and a hellish grin ....
And when her time was come to be delivered: behold there were two twins in her womb. And he that came out first was red and rough over all as it were an hide: and they called his name Esau. And afterward his brother came out, and his hand holding Esau by the heel. Wherefore his name was called Jacob. And Isaac was forty years old when she bare them: and the boys grew, and Esau became a cunning hunter and a tillman. But Jacob was a simple man, and dwelled in the tents. Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison, but Rebecca loved Jacob.
Jacob boiled pottage, and Esau came from the field and was fainty, and said to Jacob: let me sip of the red pottage, for I am fainty. And therefore was his name called Edom. And Jacob said: sell me this day thy birthright. And Esau answered: Lo I am at the point to die, and what profit shall this birthright do me? And Jacob said: swear to me then this day. And he swore to him, and sold his birthright unto Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of red rice. And he ate and drank and rose up, and went his way. And so Esau regarded not his birthright.
