and i was taken and shown diverse people in diverse situations and measures of matters according to their choosing ...
and their choosing was of their heart and mind and mouth.
evenso the spoke what was on their mind and did according to their hearts ...
and i was shown a scene of the fighter ...a boxer ...
and he was in his dressing room preparing for a fight ...
and he was doing an exercise on the floor ...face down...
and as he was exercising a weighing of his heart came over him ...
and the thought came to him that he would stop fighting ...
and that for it was unworthy before God and Jesus in spirit and truth.
and that he did not want to be someone's fighting chicken ...
and the bright lights of the ring ...awaited him ...
and the money awaited him ...
and the blood glory of a belt might be waiting for him ...
and he was in the midst of choosing ...
and the scene and seeing changed ...
and i was shown a traveling man ...
and the man traveled richly and stayed in fine hotels and other places ...
and as the man traveled he met people of darkness ...
and he played in the darkness of the lust of the eye ...lust of the flesh and the pride of goods ...
and as time went by ...he went deeper and deeper into the darkness ...
and one evening he took a special room in a certain place ...
and he was to act ...act like any other night that he stayed anywhere ...
Yet this room and this place was to make porn movies ...
and the cameras were set and the room all prepared ...
and a fair to look upon woman came in as though part of the production ...
and they talked and touched and spoke softly to one another ...like they might be real lovers ...
Yet were not ...
and the fair to look upon woman slithered into the bed ...
and the man turned and looked ...and he saw all the cameras ...and he saw the ravishing woman ...
and his hand reached for the buttons of his shirt ...

and they played a dangerous game ...racing with other young people on the highway ...
and they would race into corners ...and sped as fast as the machine would go out on to the straightaway ...
and other racers right behind ...right on the back of their machine ...
and again this was on an open highway ...with traffic ...
Nevertheless as the aged couple raced ...feeling the danger and the thrill of it ...
even the passion of excitement nearing death ...
and they came to sharp corner ...a very sharp corner ...
even one they had not expected ...
and they lost the machine in the corner ...
and landed in the waters ...
even deep waters ...with fish in it.
and the banks were high and steep ...
and the waters were rushing mightily ...
even that they might be swept away ...
them that they would stop lusting after things of their youth ...the danger the excitement ...and the thought came to

The grace of our Lord Jesu Christ be with you all:

Thou therefore my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesu. And what things thou hast heard of me many bearing witness, the same deliver to faithful men, which are apt to teach *other. Remember that Jesus Christ being of the seed of David, rose again from death according to my Gospell, wherein I suffer trouble as an evil doer, even unto bonds. But the word of God was not bound. Herefore I suffer all things, for the elects sakes, that they might also obtain that salvation which is in Christ Jesu, with eternal glory.
It is a true saying, if we be dead with him we also shall live with him. If we be patient, we shall also reign with him. If we deny him, he also shall deny us. If we believe not, yet abideth he faithful. He cannot deny him self. Of these things put them in remembrance, and testify before the Lord, that they strive not about words: which is to no profit, but to pervert the hearers.
Study to show thyself *laudable unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, dividing the word of truth justly. Unghostly and vain voices pass over. For they shall increase unto greater ungodliness, and their words shall fret even as doth a *cancre: of whose number is Hymeneous and Philetos, which as concerning the truth have errored, saying that the resurrection is past already, and do destroy the faith of *diverse persons.
But the sure ground of God remaineth, and hath this seal: the Lord knoweth them that are his, and let every man that calleth on the name of Christ, depart from iniquity. Not withstanding in a great house are not only vessels of gold and of silver: but also of wood and of earth, some for honour, and some unto dishonour. But if a man purge him self from such fellows, he shall be a vessel sanctified unto honour, *meet for the Lord, and prepared unto all good works.
Lusts of youth avoid, and follow righteousness, faith, love and peace, with them that call on the Lord with pure heart. Foolish and unlearned questions put from thee, remembering that they do but gender strife. But the servant of the Lord must not strive: but must be peaceable unto all men, and apt to teach, and one that can suffer the evil in meekness, and can inform them that resist, if that God at any time will give them repentance for to know the truth: that they may come to them selves again out of the snare of the devil, which are now taken of him at his will.*other (others). *laudable (honorable, praised) *cancre (canker, cancer? )
