And measures and matters of The Truth of the "time" we are in ...how "man" ..."thought to change time and times ... Dearly beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, how that one day is with the Lord, as a thousand year, and a thousand year as one day.
The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance.

and i was taken and shown two men ...
and one man appeared after the other ...
and the second man thought to challenge the first man to a game to SEE who wins ...
and the game was a table game with balls and sticks ...and pockets ...
and the place was as a place of drunkenness debauchery and filth ...
Yet the man challenged ...thought to take up...UP the challenge ...
and so went to the table game ...
Yet the table was not level and the surface was all ripped and rotten...
and the sticks were crooked ...
and the tips were worn out or broken off ...
and there was no chalk or talcum powder ...
and any ball hit sounded like a crack on dry wood ...
and the ball went wheresoever ...the crooked table sent it ...
and the man that was challenged said ...there is no way ...NO WAY that this game came be played ...
and that the challenge and the game was nothing worth.
and the other man who thought to challenge the first man ...said oh well ...whatever !!
and it was only a game ...of the careless man ...who challenged the first man ...
and the first man ...looked ...and the man who challenged him ...went off with other men ...playing with machines ...
and in their drunken carelessness they rode and whirled and went wild on their machines ...
and scripture came back to remembrance ...
THE GOSPELL OF ST. LUKE Chpt 22
And he came out, and went as he was *wont to mount Olivete. And the disciples followed him. And when he came to the place, he said to them: pray, lest ye fall into temptation.
And he gat himself from them, about a stones cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, saying: Father if thou wilt, withdraw this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but thine be fulfilled. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, comforting him. And he was in agony, and prayed somewhat longer. And his sweat was like drops of blood, trickling down to the ground. And he rose up from prayer and came to his disciples, and found them sleeping for sorrow, and said unto them: Why sleep ye? Rise and pray, lest ye fall into temptation.
While he yet spake: behold, there came a company, and he that was called Judas one of the twelve, went before them, and pressed nigh unto Jesus to kiss him. And Jesus said unto him: Judas, betrayest thou the son of man with a kiss? When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him. Lord: shall we smite with sword. And one of them smote a servant of the highest priest of all, and smote off his right ear. And Jesus answered and said: Suffer ye thus far forth. And he touched his ear, and healed him.
Then Jesus said unto the high priests and rulers of the temple and the elders which were come to him. Be ye come out, as unto a thief with swords and staves? When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched not forth hands against me. But this is even your very hour, and the power of darkness. Then took they him, and led him, and brought him to the high Priests house. And Peter followed afar off.
When they had kindled a fire in the midst of the palace, and were set down together Peter also sat down among them. And one of the wenches, beheld him as he sat by the fire, and set good eye sight on him and said: this same was also with him. Then he denied him saying: woman I know him not. And after a little while, another saw him and said: thou art also of them. And Peter said: man I am not. And about the space of an hour after, another affirmed saying: verily even this fellow was with him, for he is of Galile, and Peter said: man I *wot not what thou sayest. And immediately while he yet spake, the cock crew. And the Lord turned back and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the words of the Lord, how he said unto him, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me *thrice. And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.
And the men that stood about Jesus, mocked him, and smote him, and blindfolded him, and smote his face. And asked him saying: *arede, who it is that smote thee? And many other things despitefully said they against him.
And as soon as it was day the elders of the people and the high Priests and Scribes, came together, and led him into their council saying: art thou very Christ? tell us. And he said unto them: if I shall tell you, ye will not believe. And if also I ask you, ye will not answer me or let me go. Hereafter shall the son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God. Then said they all: Art thou then the son of God? He said to them: ye say that I am. Then said they: what need we any further witness? We ourselves have heard of his own mouth

I am come to send fire on earth: and what is my desire, but that it were already kindled? Notwithstanding I must be baptised with a baptism: and how am I pained till it be ended?
