And measures and matters of The Truth of the "time" we are in ...how "man" ..."thought to change time and times ... Dearly beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, how that one day is with the Lord, as a thousand year, and a thousand year as one day.
The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance.

and i was taken and shown in a hospital ...
and taken to a room and looking over a bed ...
and a young man laid there on life support with tubes and wires and attached and entering into his body ...
and his white face laid to one side head cantered back unnaturally with his mouth agape ...as a machine breathed for him ...
and there was no movement at all ...as though the body was life less ...
and next to the bed a young woman slept ...exhausted and wrung out of worry and dread ...
and her mouth agape with furrows on her face from the many tears she had wept ...
even to the end ...
and now she was empty having nothing left ...sleep ...took her ...
and the two lay there as though dead ...
and looking upon the two and all around the room ...it seemed like tears fell from Heaven.
and i looked and there upon the bed a finger twitched ...
and then again ...
and an eye twitched and blinked ...
and then came open and one eye followed the other and both eyes were wide awake ...
and the hand reached up to find what was on the face and in the mouth ...
and the young man stirred ...
and his strength began to come back to him ...
and he bent at his waist to sit up ...looking upon the young woman ...sleeping at his side ...
and the young man wept in his heart for joy ...as he reached out to touch her arm gently ...
and the young woman's eye fluttered open ...seeing and being astonished ...believing for a second that she was dreaming ...
Then joy beyond understanding poured over them both like the warm love of life ...
and the young man and young woman sought words to say ...yet could not for the deepness of their hearts were full of joy and love.
and the young man looked around the room and it was full of flowers and cards and messages of others who loved him and had prayed and hoped for his recovery ...
and scripture came back to remembrance ...
THE GOSPELL OF ST. JOHN Chpt 3
For God so loveth the world, that he hath given his only son, that none that believe in him, should perish: but should have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world, to condemn the world: but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him, shall not be condemned. But he that believeth not, is condemned all ready, because he believeth not in the name of the only son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and the men loved darkness more than light, because their deeds were evil. For every man that evil doeth, hateth the light: neither cometh to light lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doth truth, cometh to the light that his deeds might be known, how that they are wrought in God.

Thomas said unto him: Lord we know not whither thou goest. Also how is it possible for us to know the way? Jesus said unto him: I am the way, the truth and the life. And no man cometh unto the father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye had known my father also. And now ye know him, and have seen him.
Philip said unto him: Lord show us the father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus said unto him, have I been so long time with you: and yet hast thou not known me? Philip, he that hath seen me, hath seen the father. And how sayest thou then: show us the father? Believest thou not that *I am in the father, and the father in me? The words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself: but the father that dwelleth in me, is he that doeth the works. Believe me, **that I am in the father and the father in me. At the least believe me for the very works sake.
Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do, the same shall he do, and greater works then these shall he do, because I go unto my father. And whatsoever ye ask in my name, that will I do, that the father might be glorified by the son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
If ye love me keep my commandments, and I will pray the father, and he shall give you another comforter, that he may bide with you ever: which is the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive, because the world seeth him not, neither knoweth him. But ye know him. For he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: but will come to you.
Yet a little while and the world seeth me no more: but ye shall see me. For I live and ye shall live. That day shall ye know that I am in my father, and you in me, and I in you.
He that hath my commandments and keepeth them, the same is he that loveth me. And he that loveth me shall be loved of my father: and I will love him, and will show mine own self unto him. Judas said unto him (not Judas Iscarioth) Lord what is the cause that thou wilt show thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him: if a man love me and will keep my sayings, my father also will love him, and we will come unto him, and will dwell with him. He that loveth me not, keepeth not my sayings. And the words which ye hear, are not mine, but the fathers which sent me.
This have I spoken unto you being yet present with you. But that comforter which is the holy ghost (whom my father will send in my name) he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I have told you.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. Not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your hearts be grieved, neither fear ye. Ye have heard how I said unto you: I go and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would verily rejoice, because I said, I go unto the father. For the father is greater then I. And now have I showed you, before it come, that when it is come to pass, ye might believe. Here after will I not talk many words unto you. For the ruler of this world cometh, and hath nought in me. But that the world may know that I love the father: therefore as the father gave me commandment, even so do I.

Wherefore as the *holy ghost saith: today if ye shall hear his voice, harden not your hearts, after the rebellion in the day of temptation in the wilderness, where your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years long. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation and said: They *erre ever in their hearts: they verily have not known my ways so that I sware in my wrath, that they should not enter into my rest. Take heed brethren that there be in none of you an evil heart in unbelief, that he should depart from the living God: but exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you wax hard hearted through the deceitfulness of sin.
We are partakers of Christ if we keep sure unto the end the first substance, so long as it is said: today if ye hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as when ye rebelled. Yee verily I will declare thy goodness and thy works but they shall not profit thee when thou cryest, let thy chosen heap deliver thee.
