And the measures and matters of The Truth of the "time" we are in ...how "man" ..."thought to change time and times ... out of the mouths of babes and grandmoms Dearly beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, how that one day is with the Lord, as a thousand year, and a thousand year as one day. The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance. Roberta My son is 3 years 8 months now. It first started when he was talking about the stairs here. Maybe started after he turned 3 or so. I first noticed cause he would bring me to the stairs and say something about him falling from the stairs. I guess trying to tell me if he fell he'd hurt his head. Then, he would point inside our room towards the door and say something about the "Big Guy" so I thought maybe he saw an angel? Then, not too long ago, he started telling me about "the big guy and the baby". Then about "the Big Guy and the Baby on the stairs". Then "the Big Guy and the Baby helped me up the stairs" Then after my last email to you, I asked him more about the "Big Guy" like what was he doing and my son said "he's working up in the sky." Then more about the stairs and the Big Guy up the stairs and the baby. Then about he saw a doggy in a hallway up the stairs. Then about many houses. And then he said to me like "time is short". However one time, he was upset cause the Big Guy wouldn't pick him up. That was sort of before the last thing he told me about how "time is short" something like that. That's as much as I can recall for now about it all.
I remember a few dreams when I was younger. One I remember the most but vaguely was me being in a scene where I saw a long train of a white garment and like I were in a palace. And you know when I read the prophet Esai: "In the year that king Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon an high and glorious seat, and his train filled the *palace." That reminded me of that dream I had when I was a girl.
Also, too, I dreamed of being in a green forest and talking to two men. And one was higher than the other. It was something like that.
Those are the two that I remember the most. Sometimes though, I do remember dreams from when I was younger when they actually happen...called deja vu?
Today I read something my mother wrote about her mother's mother, having a dream. My mom, who was about 5 years old, and here family lived in Pearl harbor when the Japanese attacked. And sure enough the dream my great grandmother had was that the Japanese would attack pearl harbor when my mother and her family were going to live there. My mom said that the rest of the family thought she was nuts, until the Japanese did attack Pearl Harbor, where they lived. I recall my mother saying that my great grandmother didn't want my grandma to go, but they all went anyways cause my grandfather had a job there.
And one day, when the Japanese were advancing on the U.S., my mother followed her cat under a bed while her family was outside. She said that when they were outside a Japanese airplane fighter flew right over them, that the figher in the plane was so low that her family saw him smiling. And he didn't even attack them.
Also, not too long ago also, I had a dream that I stood in front of a congregation of folks who were sitting down. And these were in a church. And I saw that the preacher was preaching to the peoples about slavery...like mingling it in with scripture. As do many black preacher do. And I had said thrice, WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP! And these were also penticostals. And I saw that I was telling them the truth about the preacher and giving them scriptures to prove it, and I saw that a woman did begin to see it for herself that what I said about the preacher was true. And even what I said, the preacher tried to use that too to deceive the people there. Yet I saw that I left that place and began to look for other penticostal churches to share with them the truth. That is the best I can remember of that dream.
I better go...thank you again!
Roberta :)
