Behold a dream in the night season ...and a worthy dog appeared ...yet chained was he ...and kept ...fed ...watered and tended to ...truthfully and lovingly ...and fearce to look upon was he ...and worthy for he stood watch to warn ...and protect ...(against the dogs of the world) and protect too against any beasts and the ravaging wolves of the world also ...that might come near to his masters house ...and if loosened against unworthies he would put to any to flight ...any that would come to do harm ...to the masters children ...or to steal ...
and it was such that the master so loved and injoyed this dog ...that he would on occasion lose him and play with him and wrestle with him ...and take him to vast waters ...that he could swim in ...and show him to others ...and even ...trained him up to hunt ...that one day ...one day ...when the master thought it perfect ...when his bow was ready ...they together would hunt down all the unworthy dogs and beasts and the ravaging wolves of the world
YET ...now it came to pass that the dog wanted and would be loosened ...not for worthy reason ...yet only because he struggled at his chain ...and wanted ...wanted of himself to be loosened ...neither did his master loosen him ...yet he desired to find a way ... a way of his own to be lose ...and he struggled at his chain ...
nevertheless ...his chain that bound him ...was not heavy ...nether was it short ...truth was ...he did not know he was chained ...(to a mighty tree) ...unless he struggled ...or became frightened ...by storms ...
Yet even when it stormed ...his kind and loving master ...would take him in his own house ...and comfort him ...against any dread storm ...
Nevertheless the dog was not happy ...for he wanted ...wanted to roam ...and wanted to go ...and wanted to do things ...he thought would be ...he thought he would like ...
and it came to pass that one day ...the dog loosened himself ...(for he was never bound too tight) ...
and he went out into the world ...and found ...and played ...and mused himself ...with and of ...the dogs and beasts and the ravaging wolves of the world ...(whom against he had been before )
and it suffered his master to see him go ...for in afore time his master had helped him ...saved him ...from death ...for he had on occasion ...been run over by the "things" of the world ...and had many times been near unto death ...and smote so grievious ...that he would die ...
Yet his master had saved him ...and taken him to the good physician ...that he might be healed ...
and his master had paid the price of his healing and mending ...and a heavy price it was ...for much work and long times ...of time ...did it take the good physician to heal him ...for he was broken asunder ...of bones and flesh ...and wounded in his face ...and so much so that his face was nearly taken away ...for he was so wounded on the highways of the world ...and the poison spewing swift firey chariots ...of the worldly
Nevertheless the worthy pet ...of the master left ...and sought his own ...desires ...and thought that he would "play" in the world ...again with the dogs and beasts and the ravaging wolves of the world ...(whom against he had been before )
and it came to pass ...that the dogs and beasts and the ravaging wolves of the world ...mused themselves with him ..and took away his guard against them ...and then they put upon him ...and one ravaging dog of the world in perticular ...(the most evil of all ) when he saw a weakness ...thought he might do some harm to the worthy dog of the master ...
and a "playfull" beguiled fight began ...tween the one ravaging dog of the world in perticular ...(the most evil of all ) and the worth dog of the master ...and only did the evil one ...bite and chew and gnaw at the worthies right front foot ...and the worthy dog thought that this was foolish ...for he could have killed the evil one by biting his neck ...(but because he thought to "play" with these wicked of the world ...he did not have a heart to kill the most evil of all ...
and so he "played with these" ...and saw not the harm ...till his foot had been so wounded ...so much so that his foot might not be healed ...
and he limped his way back to his master's house ...
wait on the master ...for the hunting to begin ...
and why ? is the masters pet kept on a chain ?? till the hunt ?? ...for there are those of the world ...so fearfull ...and murderous ...that if they see this dog ...loosened ...they would try to kill him ...
