and the light of darkness ...shone bright ...and a mighty wind buffeted ...and mighty tress began to shake ...
and dogs curled up ...and some hid ...and none barked ...only waited ...
and the grass turned black from the night ...and the lights of the houses of men ...went out ...
and only darkness remained ...
and i looked Heavenward ...and a color shown..
a hard greyness ...cold ...and chilling ...to the marrow of bones ...
a greyness found in the eyes of the dead ...
a greyness ...of the heart ...of compromise ...no love for the truth ...
a greyness ...never before seen ...and yet to be shown ...
a greyness ...of steel ...as Heaven had become ...
