The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance. creteis@yahoo.com      Behold in a nightmare of the dark season ...of the times and time ..of the season of man ...see son of man ...       and i was taken and shown a man and a woman ...       and the man loved the woman so ...       and the woman was beauty full ...       and they were lovers ...       even as to be married ...       and they danced and sang and swooned together day and night for ...a time ...       and again it was ...of the mans heart ...that they would be married ...that she would be his bride ...       and the man held her close to his heart ...       and comforted her in all ways ...       and he felt ...loved in her embrace ...       Nevertheless it came to pass one evening ...that the woman came to ...the man who loved her ...       and she said ...that she was with child ...       and the man was stunned ...       and as he was stunned ...she went on the more ...quickly saying ..."yet the child is not yours " ...       and the man was devastated and his heart fell from his chest ...       and his soul and spirit groaned within him ...       and the woman went on quickly to say ...that she had another man ....       and had ...had another man for some time ...       and was with the other man ...as though married ...yet not ...       and that for the other man ...had money and came from a proud family ...       and the other man ...taken care of her for some time ...       and the other man gave her money ...and kept her in a house a high up ...like a high apartment ...       and the other man bought her things ...and took her places ...       even as though offering her the world ...       nevertheless she had little lust for the other man ...for she could not be satisfied ...       and Yet now ...she finding herself with the child of the other man ...she would leave ...the man who loved her ...       and go back to the ...the other man...and be married unto him ...       and the man that loved the woman was shaken to the marrow of his bones ...       and sadly torn of heart and mind and soul ...when he was shown ...the spirit and truth of the woman ...       and the woman and the ...other man ...acted so casual of the whole thing ...       even to invite the man ...to be with them ...to share in their ways ...and go with them ...       even to visit their place a high up ...       and so care less ..(could not care less ) ...that they flaunted their wedding plans and marriage ...in his face ...       and the day turned to darkest night ...as the other man and the woman (who would be never satisfied ) ...went away together ...       and the man who loved her ...looked ...       and he knew ...that ...that woman would always be unfaithful...       even to the ...the other man ...       even that their marriage was a vain and pampas and proud thing ...of nothing worth ...of love or truth or rightness ...       and he knew the child of such a marriage would become uncared for ...and homeless ...       and again the man who loved the woman ...felt pain in his heart and mind and soul ...       and his spirit wept woefully ...       and he prayed and wondered before God and Christ ...of the measures of matters ...       and in an instant ...words came to him without speaking ...that the "woman" was a "country" ...       even the same "country" that the man had loved ...       even the same "country" that had become as never satisfied ...and a care less ...whore ...       and that ...the country was "wrapped in iniquity" ...   and i thought of the land of the wicked eagle ...and the land of the great eagle ...being the same ...Yet NOT ...    of the wicked eagle.............Groanings of the spirit ...america     of the great eagle................THE REVELATION OF ST JOHN THE DIVINE Chpt 12   and scripture came back to remembrance ... THE REVELATION OF ST JOHN THE DIVINE Chpt 17  And there came one of the seven Angels, which had the seven vials: and talked with me, saying unto me: come I will show thee the judgement of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters, with whom have committed fornication the kings of the earth, so that the inhabiters of the earth, are drunken with the wine of her fornication. And he carried me away into the wilderness in the spirit. And I saw a woman sit upon a rose colored beast full of names of blasphemy which had ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and rose colour and decked with gold, precious stone, and pearls, and had a cup of gold in her hand, full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication. And in her forehead was a name written, a mystery, great Babylon the mother of whoredom and abominations of the earth. And I saw the wife drunken with the blood of saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of *Jesu. And when I saw her: I wondered with great marvel.       And the Angel said unto me: wherefore marvellest thou? And the ten horns which thou seest, are ten kings, which have received no kingdom, but shall receive power as kings at one hour with the beast. And the ten horns, which thou sawest upon the beast, are they that shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate, and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts, to fulfil his will, and to do with one consent, for to give her kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God be fulfilled. And the woman which thou sawest, is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. THE ACTS OF THE APOSTLES Chpt 8 Saul had pleasure in his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the congregation which was at Jerusalem, and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Jewry and Samaria, except the Apostles. Then devout men dressed Stephen, and made great lamentation over him. But Saul made havoc of the congregation, entering into every house, and drew out both man and woman and thrust them into prison. How be it they that were scattered abroad, went every where preaching the word. Then came Philip into a city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, with one accord in that they heard and saw the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed of them. And many taken with palsies, and many that halted, were healed. And there was great joy in that city. And there was a certain man called Simon, which before time in the same city, used witchcraft and bewitched the people of Samaria, saying that he was a man that could do great things. Whom they regarded, from the least to the greatest, saying: this fellow is the great power of God. And him they set much by, because of long time with he mocked them with sorcery. But as soon as they believed Philips preaching of the kingdom of God and of the name of *Jesu Christ, they were baptised both men and women. Then Simon himself believed also, and was baptised, and continued with Philip, and wondered beholding the miracles and signs, which were showed.       When the Apostles which were at Jerusalem heard say that Samaria had received the word of God: they sent unto them Peter and John. Which when they were come, prayed for them that they might receive the holy ghost. For as yet he was come on none of them: But they were baptised only in the name of Christ *Jesu. Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the holy ghost.       When Simon saw, that through laying on of the Apostles hands on them, the holy ghost was given: he offered them money saying: give me also this power, that on whomsoever I put the hands, he may receive the holy ghost. Then said Peter unto him: thy money perish with thee, because thou *wenest that the gift of God may be obtained with money. Thou hast neither part nor fellowship in this business. For thy heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God that the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. For I perceive that thou art full of bitter gall, and wrapped in iniquity .       Then answered Simon and said: Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken, fall on me. And they when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord returned toward Jerusalem and preached the gospel in many cities of the Samaritans. iniquity .1. Gross immorality or injustice; wickedness.
