Dearly beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, how that one day is with the Lord, as a thousand year, and a thousand year as one day. The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance.

Behold in a nightmare of the dark season ...of the times and time ..of the season of man ...see son of man ...

and i was taken and shown a wondering man ...

and the man thought he was ill ...

and he searched for a doctor to heal him ...

even one who might care for him ...

and there appeared one ...that appeared to care ...

that is to say the comforting ways of a woman were used to appear as though ...caring ...

and smiles and soothing words ...and tender touches ...and eyes ...that any might believe ...

and the man was taken in ...in by such ...

and hoped to be healed of the same ...caring ...

even as it appeared ...

nevertheless the womanish healing was only for gain ...

and the appearing of caring fled from the place ...

and the man was shown the doctors of hell ....that heal for money ...

and mine and dig in peoples flesh for gold ...

and the man fled that place and sought another doctor ...

and again he sought one who might care ...like a brother ...

or a father ...who might look after his health caringly ....

and he found a man that appeared that way ...

and not part of the ruling medical establishment ...

and the man had license to be called a doctor ...

and appeared to have all the tools and words and ways of a worldly doctor ...

evenso that any might believe he was a doctor ...

and the man sought him out the more ...for the way he appeared ...

and told him of his pain ...and illness ...

and the man who appeared as a doctor ...invited him into his house ...

and his house was filled with darkness ...

and worthy works of the apothecary ...mixed with the works of wretchedness ...

and the appearing doctor laughed ...for the man expected the doctor to heal him ...

and said ...what i can do... is give you pills for pain and make you sleep ...

even till you heal ...

and i remembered an old surgeon that i knew before ...

and i remember what he said ....

and he said i do the best i came to help ...and leave the healing to God ...
