Dearly beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, how that one day is with the Lord, as a thousand year, and a thousand year as one day. The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance.

and i was taken and shown a father and son working at the same place ...
and they did all that they could to repair and mend a mans house ...
and they fixed the roof ...and ceiling ...
and repaired the water damage within ...within the house ...for the house was as though flooded of the waters of the world ...(teachings of the world)
and they removed the images that were on the walls ...that were sodden of the same waters ...images of heavenly things ...imagined of men ...
and they fixed the walls of the house ...that were crooked and twisted ...
and they began to prepare a table for the owner of the house ...
and why? for the table that owner sat at before was all rotten and weak ...ready to collapse ...
and the father and the son began to make a new table ...worthy and strong ...
and able to sit many peoples ...
Nevertheless as they were working ...the wife of the worldly man came to them ...
and the worldly wife said " no need to repair the table " ...for the man whose table it is ...whose house it is ...is near death ...
and scripture came back to remembrance ...
Therefore holy brethren, partakers of the celestial callings consider the ambassador and high priest of our profession Christ Jesus, which was faithful to him that made him, even as was Moses in all his house. And yet was this man counted worthy of more glory than Moses: In as much as he which hath prepared the house, hath most honour in the house. Every house is prepared of some man. But he that ordained all things, is God. And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a minister, to bear witness of those things which should be spoken afterward. But Christ as a son, hath rule over the house, whose house are we, so that we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of that hope, unto the end.

The Lord is my shepherd, I can want nothing.. * He feedeth me in a green pasture, and leadeth me to a fresh water. He quickeneth my soul, and bringeth me forth in the way of righteousness for his names sake. Though I should walk now in the valley of the shadow of death, yet I fear no evil, for thou art with me: thy staff and thy sheep hook comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me against mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil, and fillest my cup full.
Oh let thy loving kindness and mercy follow me all the days of my life, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord forever

For they spake against God, and said: yee, yee God shall prepare a table in the wilderness, shall he? Lo, he smote the stony rock, that the watery streams gushed out, and the streams flowed withal: but how can he give bread and provide flesh for his people?

Because they believed not in God, and put not their trust in his help.
