and i was taken and shown the comfort that was given Jesus and the apostles ...
and that was the transfiguration of Jesus while he talked with Moses and *Helias ...
and to take away the fear that the apostles had ...
even as it is written ...shown in the paragraph before the showing of the transfiguration ...
Jesus then said to his disciples. If any man will follow me let him forsake himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whosoever will save his life, shall *loose it. And whosoever shall *loose his life for my sake, shall find it. What shall it profit a man, though he should win all the whole world if he *loose his own soul? Or else what shall a man give to redeem his soul again with all? For the son of man shall come in the glory of his father, with his angels: and then shall he reward every man according to his deeds. Verily I say unto you, some there be among them that here stand, which shall not taste of death, till they shall have seen the son of man come in his kingdom.
*Helias (Elias) *advoutry: prefix "a" meaning not or without, devout: devotion; plain hearted to God, being devoted to something or some one else. see James 2 for adultery *loosest: open from the Hebrew (see below) same word. lowsed: exactly as it is written. low from the Hebrew is "humbled" *loose: exactly as it appears: loose from the Hebrew is to "open".
And after six days Jesus took Peter and James and John his brother, and brought them up into an high mountain out of the way, and was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his clothes were as white as the light. And behold there appeared unto them, Moses and *Helias, talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said to Jesus: master here is good being for us. If thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for *Helias. While he yet spake, behold a bright cloud shadowed them. And behold there came a voice out of the cloud saying: this is my dear son, in whom I delight, hear him. And when the disciples heard that, they fell on their faces, and were sore afraid. And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them saying: see that ye show the vision to no man, until the son of man be risen again from death. And his disciples asked of him, saying: Why then say the Scribes, that *Helias must first come? Jesus answered, and said unto them: *Helias shall first come, and restore all things. And I say unto you that Helias is come already, and they knew him not: but have done unto him whatsoever they lusted. In like wise shall also the son of man suffer of them. Then the disciples perceived that he spake unto them of John Baptist.
and i met a woman who professed the knowing of Jesus and knowing the word of God...
and Yet she said John was NOT Helias (Elias)...for that would be reincarnation ...and reincarnation is a lie ...
and i said you are right... reincarnation of the insect to a man ...or rat to a man ...is a lie ...
Nevertheless i said to her you can not choose of the truth of God what you will believe and what you will not ...
and again John was Helias (Elias)...even as Jesus said. period
