and i was taken and shown like a door to a house ...
even as it might be the door to any house ...any mans house ...or any woman's house ...
nevertheless looking from above ...upon the door to ...the ...house ...the door opened ...
and an huge rubbery thing appeared from within ...within the house ...
and the huge rubbery thing filled the whole doorway ...door way to the house...
and i looked ...and it was the imaged of a snake ...and it poked its head out the door ...
Now ...now the rubbery image of the snake was made to look upon ...as a harmless reptile ...
and had soft and sooth features ...and eyes like pillows ...
and not the looks of the viper ...neither eyes sinister and cunning ...nor a mouth with flicking tongue ...
No ...no ...oh no ...this image of the snake ...that was made ...was sssssso pleasant and innocent to look upon ...
even as though it was not the slithering thing ...that flicked with fangs of deadly venom ...sunk deep in the flesh ...
and who swallowed the body whole ...even as it was still alive ...
No this masking of the snake ... made to look ...like something to play with ...
and i looked ...and was astounded ...for within ...within the image of the snake were peoples ...
and the rubbery image of the snakes head ...bulged and undulated of the moving of the people within ...within ...
and again all of all was in the doorway ...the way of the door ...of the mans house ...
and i was shown children playing with fake snakes ....
even as they pretended the snake ...was their friend ...and played with them ...and kissed them
and was shown children playing werewolf and vampire ...bending over waving arms and growling ...making evil faces ...
and was shown parents that over looked such things ...
and the ways of the aged were attacked ...
and scripture came back to remembrance ...
THE REVELATION OF ST JOHN Chpt 20
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go out to deceive the people which are in the four quarters of the earth Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea: and they went up on the plain of the earth, and compassed the tents of the saints about, and the beloved city. And behold I come shortly, and my reward with me, to give every man according as his deeds shall be. I am Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end: the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that their power may be in the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without shall be dogs and enchanters and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth or maketh leasings.
I Jesus sent mine angel, to testify unto you these things in the congregations. I am the root and the generation of David, and the bright morning star. And the spirit and the bride said come. And let him that heareth, say also, come. And let him that is a thirst, come. And let whosoever will, take of the water of life, free.
I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book: *If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. And if any man shall minish of the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from those things which are written in this book. He which testifieth these things saith: be it, I come quickly, Amen.
Even so: come Lord Jesu.
