the dinner party...

And measures and matters of The Truth of the "time" we are in ...how "man" ..."thought to change time and times ...

Dearly beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, how that one day is with the Lord, as a thousand year, and a thousand year as one day.

The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance.

Behold in a nightmare just before the going down of the son ...during the dark season ...of the times and time ..of the season of man ...see son of man ...

and i was taken and shown a vast prepared hall ...

and there were white steps and tall marble pillars to go there into...

and the ceiling (sealing ) was high as if it reached unto Heaven ...

and the white washed ceiling was high above all ...

and the doors and the windows were rounded above ...

and the rounded windows above all were made of cut and stained glass...

and double doors swung open to to show a long long table ...

and the table sat heavily upon the cold hard glistening marble floors...

and sparkling chandlers hung ...hung over ...the table from the high ceilings ...

and the chandlers had thousand and thousands of crystals glittering in the light ...

and the light danced in the crystals ...like son light through tears ...

and the like flashed and glistened off the ornaments on the table ...

and the table set with the finest of silver and gold ...

and rare and costly vases bursting with flowers ...without any fragrance ...

and only the only the chosen of the world ...could enter in ...

and only to those rich enough to appear that way ...could come ...

and the men wore dark stiff garments with tails ...

and had rich rags of soft cloth around their necks...

even of the same traditions of Gog and Magog (england) ...

even when and where a mans neck bound with the cloth of his profession ...(ties)

and rings and rich watches on their hands and wrists ...

and hair done as though women ...without a single hair out of place ...

and soft shoes of leisure and aloofness and pride ...

and women came dressed one against another ...

even looking more at each other to measure ...

even more than at the men ...more than on the men ...

and the women were heavily scented to cover up the odors of their flesh ...

and their dresses and jewelry costing more than the annual wages of the working class...

and their hairs done ...twisted turned plaited or pilled high ...to the cost of two weeks pay ...of general labor ...

and their shoes so high to contort their feet and twist their legs into poses and positions of prostitutions...

and they all drank and danced and laughed to scorn the lesser of the world ...

and boasted of their robberies bribes and extortions for their wealth's sake ...

and weighing their wealth one over another ...one above another ...

and pride of outrageous wealth was not enough ...

Yet the power they had over any others ...was their lust ...

and they all sat down at the same table ...

and ate the same bread ...

and drank the same water ...

and scripture came back to remembrance ...

THE GOSPELL OF ST. LUKE Chpt 4

Jesus then full of the holy ghost returned from Jordan, and was carried of the spirit into wilderness, and was forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days ate he nothing. And when they were ended, he after ward hungered. And the devil said unto him: if thou be the son of God command this stone that it be bread. And Jesus answered him saying: It is written, man shall not live by bread only, but by every word of God.
And the devil took him up into an high mountain, and showed him all the kingdom of the world, even in the twinkling of an eye. And the devil said unto him: all this power will I give thee every *whit and the glory of them: for that is delivered to me, and to whosoever I will, I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, they shall be all thine. Jesus answered him and said: hence from me Satan. For it is written: Thou shalt honour the Lord thy God, and him only serve.
And he carried him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him: If thou be the son of God, cast thyself down from hence. For it is written, he shall give his Angels charge over thee to keep thee, and with their hands they shall stay thee up that thou dash not thy foot against a stone. Jesus answered and said to him, it is said: thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. As soon as the devil had ended all his temptations, he departed from him, for a season.
And Jesus returned by the power of the spirit into Galile, and there went a fame of him through out all the region round about. And he taught in their synagogues, and was commended of all men.

And the devil said unto him: all this power will I give thee every *whit and the glory of them: for that is delivered to me, and to whosoever I will, I give it.

And the devil said unto him: if thou be the son of God command this stone that it be bread.

Chpt 12 The Revelation of St John

And when the dragon saw, that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman, which brought forth the man child. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, times, and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. And the dragon cast out of his mouth water after the woman as it had been a river, because she should have been caught of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed, up the river, which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was wroth with the woman: and went and made war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. And I stood on the sea *stonde.

And the dragon cast out of his mouth water after the woman as it had been a river, because she should have been caught of the flood.

And the dragon cast out of his mouth water...

ESAI or ISAIAH Chpt 3

Then shall he swear and say: I can not help you. Moreover, there is neither meat nor clothing in my house, make me no ruler of the people. For Jerusalem and Juda must decay, because both their words and counsel are against the Lord, they provoke the presence of his Majesty unto anger. The changing of their countenance betrayeth them, yee they declare their own sins themselves, as the Sodomites, and hide them not. Woe be unto their souls, for they shall be heavily rewarded. Then shall they say: O happy are the godly, for they may enjoy the fruits of their studies. But woe be unto the ungodly and unrighteous for they shall be rewarded after their works. O my people, *ribaudes oppress thee, and women have rule of thee. O my people, thy leaders deceive thee, and tread out the way of thy footsteps. The Lord is here to commune of the matter, and standeth to give judgement with the people. The Lord shall come forth to reason with the Senators and princes of his people, and shall say thus unto them: It is ye that have burnt up my vineyard, the robbery of the poor is in your house. Wherefore do ye oppress my people, and marred the faces of the innocents? thus shall the Lord God of Hosts revile them.

Moreover thus sayeth the Lord: Seeing the daughters of Sion are become so proud, and come in with stretched out necks, and with vain wanton eyes: seeing they come in tripping so nicely with their feet: Therefore shall the Lord shave the heads of the daughters of Sion, and make their beauty bare in the day. In that day shall the Lord take away the gorgeousness of their apparel, and spangles, chains, *partlets, and collars, bracelets and hooves, that goodly flowered wide and boarded raiment, brushes and head bands, rings and garlands, holy day clothes and veils, kerchiefs and pins, glasses and smocks, bonnets and *taches

And instead of good smell there shall be stink among them. And for their girdles there shall be loose bands. And for well set hair there shall be baldness. Instead of a stomacher, a sackcloth, and for their beauty witherdness and *son burning. Their husbands and their mighty men shall perish with the sword in battle.

*eschue (avoid, escape) *ribaudes ( extortioners :MN). *partlets = ruffled covering for the neck. *taches = buckles, clasps, fasteners. *son burning exactly as recorded.

THE FIRST TO THE CORINTHIANS Chpt 10

And I would not that ye should have fellowship with the devils. Ye cannot drink of the cup of the Lord, and of the cup of the devils. Ye can not be partakers of the Lords table, and of the table of devils. Either shall we provoke the Lord? Or are we stronger then he? All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not *expedient. All things are lawful to me, but all things edify not. Let no man seek his own profit: but let every man seek anothers wealth.

THE GOSPELL OF ST. LUKE Chpt 9

And he said to them all, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow me. Whosoever will save his life, shall lose it. And whosoever shall lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what advantageth it a man to win the whole world if he lose himself or run in damage of himself? For whosoever is ashamed of me, and of my sayings: of him shall the son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in his own glory, and in the glory of his father, and of the holy angels. And I tell you of a surety: There be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.
