the dead and the day of the dead...

And measures and matters of The Truth of the "time" we are in ...how "man" ..."thought to change time and times ...

Dearly beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, how that one day is with the Lord, as a thousand year, and a thousand year as one day.

The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance.

Behold in a nightmare of the dark season ...of the times and time ..of the season of man ...see son of man ...

and i was taken and shown plainly from the level ground ...

and there was an old abandoned ...place ...of plain ground ...

and no house had ever been built there ...

and old trees had grown up roundabout ...

Yet in the center of the old place was a hill ...

and the hill and the place was all strew of dead grass and dried broken off limbs ...

and thorns and thickets and bushes with pricks ...over grew the place ...

nevertheless there were those that thought ...to make the old place into a park ...

even where people might play ...have picnics ...parties ...and such ...

and so the old hill was bull dosed off ...

and the dead grass and dried broken off limbs ...removed...by hand ...

and thorns and thickets and bushes with pricks ...sprayed with poison ...

Yet the poison was said not to hurt ...the grass...

and so it was that time came ...the place was prepared and the park made ready ...

and on a certain day ...the preparations being ...being complete ...was the place opened ...opened ...

and there came people to the place prepared ...

and spread their blankets and coverings on the ground ...

even the places where they thought was new grass ...

Yet was where the old thorns and thickets and bushes with pricks ...were sprayed with poison ...

and where the old high hill was ...was still nothing grown upon ...

and so in that place they dug pits for themselves ...to start their fires in ...

even every each one digging his own pit ...   ...

and every each one starting his own fire ...  ...

and it happened ...as one was digging his own pit ...with his own hands ...that his hand hit something ...

and he found a corner of the thing ...and dug the more ...

and it was an old hat ...

and he dug some more ...of his own hands ...and there was old garments ...

     and rings and things ...

and the one digging his own pit ...thought ...oh wow ...an old grave sight ...

and dug the more for the riches buried with the dead ...for the dead ...

even by those who thought they were living ...

and the people round about heard that others were digging in old graves ...

and some were wroth and raged ...for they NOW considered the place sacred ground ...

and others thought to dig there also ...for their own reasons ...

even some to name and number the dead ...

     and find their forefathers ...

and the religious community without exception ...came forth in robes and rings and hats ...

and that to ceremonially sanctify all that was done...over the dead ...for the dead ... of the dead ...

even a special day appointed ...the day of the dead ...

and it appeared that in and of the whole land ...the dead did rise to celebrate ...

even the blind and unknowing ...

and scripture came back to remembrance ...

THE GOSPELL OF ST. LUKE Chpt 20

Then came to him certain of the Sadduces which deny that there is any resurrection. And they asked him saying: Master, Moses wrote unto us, if any mans brother die having a wife, and the same die without issue: that then his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. There were seven brethren, and the first took a wife, and died without children. And the second took the wife, and he died childless. And the third took her, and in like wise the residue of the seven, and left no children behind them, and died. Last of all the woman died also. Now at the resurrection whose wife of them shall she be? For seven had her to wife.
Jesus answered and said unto them. The children of this world marry wives, and are married, but they which shall be made worthy to enjoy that world and the resurrection from death, neither marry wives neither are married nor yet can die any more. For they are equal unto the angels: and are the sons of God in as much as they are the children of the resurrection. And that the dead shall rise again, even Moses signified besides the bush, when he said: the Lord God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. For he is not the God of the dead, but of them which live. For all live in him. Then certain of the Pharisees answered and said: Master thou hast well said. And after that durst they not ask him any question at all.
Then said he unto them: how say they that Christ is Davids son? And David him self saith in the book of the Psalms: The Lord said unto my Lord, sit on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool. Seeing David calleth him Lord: How is he then his son?
Then in the audience of all the people, he said unto his disciples, beware of the Scribes, which desire to go in long clothing: and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues and chief rooms at feasts, which devour widows houses and that under a colour of long praying: the same shall receive greater damnation

THE REVELATION OF ST JOHN Chpt 11

And then was given me a reed, like unto a rod, and it was said unto me: Rise and meet the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein, and the *quere which is within the temple, cast out and meet it not: for it is given unto the Gentiles, and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty two months. And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy one thousand, two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sack cloth. These are two olive trees, and two candlesticks, standing before the God of the earth.
And if any man will hurt them, fire shall proceed out of their mouths, and consume their enemies. And if any man will hurt them this wise must he be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophesying: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all manner plagues, as often as they will.
And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that came out of the bottomless pit, shall make war against them and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their bodies shall lie in the streets of the great city, which spiritually is called *Zodom and Eygpt, where our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds, and tongues, and they of the nations, shall see their bodies three days and an half, and shall not *suffer their bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth, shall rejoice over them and be glad, and shall send gifts one to another for these two Prophets vexed them that dwelt on the earth.
And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God, entered into them. And they stood up upon their feet: and great fear came upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven, saying unto them. Come up hither. And they ascended up into heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them. And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain names of men seven thousand and the remnant were feared, and gave glory to God of heaven. The second woe is past, and third woe will come *anon.
And the seventh angel blew, and there were made great voices in heaven, saying: the kingdoms of this world are our Lords and his Christs, and he shall reign for evermore. And the twenty four elders, which sit before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God saying: we give thee thanks Lord God almighty: which art and wast, and art to come, for thou hast received thy great might, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead that they should be judged and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the Prophets and Saints, and to them that fear thy name small and great and shouldest destroy them, which destroy the earth. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple, the ark of his testament: and there followed lightnings, and voices, and thunderings and earthquake, and much hail

*Zodom (Sodom)      *suffer (allow) *anon (shortly). *quere : place of asking ...where petitions are heard
