The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance.

and i was taken and shown a circus ...
and the flags were flying ...
and the tents of any and all appeared white...
and bright painted bill boards showed the exciting images of the acts of the beasts ...
and there were broad fair ways lined with concessions ...
and lines of peoples ...
and anything and everything anyone wanted ...wanted to eat ...wanted to drink ...wanted to taken in ...was offered ...there...
and great and horrible beasts were subdued ...trained...brought to do things their masters wanted ...
and the peoples stood with mouths agape at the wonders of the acts of the beasts ...
and those that had rule over them ...
and the circus seemed to cover the earth ...
even as if the circus was ...the greatest ...show ...on earth ...
and it seemed it would go on forever ...
and so much so ...that none ...(save only a few ) could see the end of it ...
and in that moment ...in that instant ...the circus that was afore bright in its own glory ...became dark ...even utter darkness ...
and scripture came back to remembrance ...
Chpt 4 The Gospel of St Matthew
The devil took him up again and led him in to an exceeding high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and all the glory of them, and said to him: all these will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity, shall go into captivity: he that killeth with a sword, must be killed with a sword. Here is the patience, and the faith of the saints.
Chpt 20 The Revelation of St John 2731
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go out to deceive the people which are in the four quarters of the earth Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea: and they went up on the plain of the earth, and compassed the tents of the saints about, and the beloved city. And fire came down from God, out of heaven, and devoured them: and the devil that deceived them, was cast into a lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were and shall be tormented day and night for ever more.

And after that, I saw another Angel come from heaven, having great power, and the earth was lightened with his brightness. Alas, Alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city: for at one hour is her judgment come. And the merchants of the earth shall weep and wail in themselves, for no man will buy their ware any more, the ware of gold and silver, and precious stones, neither of pearl, and raynes and purple, and scarlet, and all thine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass and of iron, and cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and bodies and souls of men.

Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the armour of God, that ye may stand steadfast against the crafty assaults of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood: but against rule, against power, and against worldly rulers of the darkness of this world against spiritual wickedness, for heavenly things. For this cause take unto you the armour of God, that ye may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand perfect in all things.
Stand therefore, and your loins girt about with verity, having on the breastplate of righteousness, and shod with shoes prepared by the Gospell of peace. Above all take to you the shield of faith, wherewith ye may quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. And pray always with all manner prayer and supplication: and that in the spirit: and watch thereunto with all instance and supplication for all saints and for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to utter the secrets of the Gospell, whereof I am a messenger in bonds, that therein I may speak freely, as it becometh me to speak.
about with verity,...VERITY is the REALNESS and TRUTH of God our father and Jesus in our hearts and minds and souls and strength
And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us,and we saw the glory of it,
as the glory of the only begotten son of the father,
which word was full of grace and verity.
