and again nearsome ...along ..long the highways of man ...Yet not on or of the highways of man ...did the stranger travel ...
and a swift device was given the stranger ...and his way made easy and kept ...
evenso the highways of man were all ways under construction ...and the whole of the way of man was shown to be highways builded on sand ...
and the stranger went the further and followed upon the ways of man ...till he came to the house of man ...
and there ...within ...within the house of man ...was the man and his wife ...
and the man and his wife were working on the provision ...provision of the house ...and each tending to what they wanted and protecting their provisions ...like a thief might come to steal ...
Now the stranger came to the man ...that was of the house ...and ask of him ...what direction he might take ...
evenso the man answered not ...for the house ...neither for the two ...he and his wife ...
Yet came a chorus ...of two voices ...both the man and the wife ...as if they both must be heard ...not man and wife ...yet man and woman ...and neither was allowed to speak... for the other ...
Now the stranger was astounded by the hearing of this ...and was taken aback ...for these had declared a marriage ...yet the wife ...was woman ...and head of herself ...and if the man be lessor ...even his head ...and the man bound to be happy therewith ...and he was ...
nevertheless ...upon seeing the stranger ...the woman did speak ...of her discomfort at the seeing of him ...
and the more ...did the man agree and that gladly with his woman wife ...even against the stranger ...
and they together began to wish the stranger away ...by taunting him and questioning the strangers worth ...according to the seeing of the woman and the man who was subject to her thinking and reasoning and ways ...and wants ...evenso all things according to her understanding of worth ...
and of course these two found the stranger unworthy ..chased him away ...without any helps ...and only with threatenings ...
Now the stranger cast his eyes upon the couple ...and the man became sore afraid ...for he knew better than to treat a stranger in ...within ...such a way ...
evenso the stranger was on his way away from the house of man ...when behold the man of the house came running after him ...and tried to explain all that had gone on ...in the houses of man ...even unto the end ...
and the more the man said to the stranger ...that he would have given provision to him ...and should have ...and now had come to help the stranger ...on his way through ..or near the high ways of man ...
and the stranger well comed the man ...and they together continued on ...for a little time ...that was left ...
and the stranger had shown that his provision was simple ...and that his way upon the face of the world was plain ...
and the device of his passing through was plain and simple also ...
evenso as the man and the stranger ...came to the place ...where the stranger had first began ...(before going to the house of man ) ...behold the children of the world had tried to steal the provision and the device of the stranger ...
and only thing left was the broken pieces ...left behind ...of what was the strangers afore ...his provision and his device..
Yet upon seeing plainly ...the ones who would steal the strangers provision and device ...these were shown plainly ...and their theft plainly and their deception plainly ...and their trying to hide the wickedness ...all plainly shown ...
and the man of the afore house and marriage ...his eyes were open ...and he saw plainly ...the rudeness and theft ...deception's ...and the hidden wickedness ...
and the man of the afore house and marriage ...went and ran as fast as he could ...back to his house ...and to tell all that he had seen ...and to get his house in order ...within ...with and in the order of God ...
and the more ...for the man of the house ...knew not ...that it was allready of the way ...of the stranger ...
that the stranger would return again to the house of man ...to visit him ...
one last time ...
