And the other Jewes dissembled likewise, in so much that Barnabas was brought into their simulation also. But when I saw, that they went not the right way after the truth of the Gospell, I said unto Peter, before all men, if thou being a Jewe, livest after the manner of the Gentiles, and not as do the Jewes: why causest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jewes? We which are Jewes by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, know that a man is not justified by the deeds of the law: but by the faith of Jesus Christ. And therefore we have believed on Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the deeds of the law: because that by the deeds of the law no flesh shall be justified.
If then while we seek to be made righteous by Christ, we ourselves are found sinners, is not then Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. For if I build again that which I destroyed, then make I my self a trespasser. But I through the law, am dead to the law: that I might live unto God. I am crucified with Christ. I live verily: yet now not I, but Christ liveth in me. For the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the son of God, which loved me, and gave him self for me.
