and i was taken and shown from above ...like a suburban ...landscape ...
and it was of the eagle ...
and a snarl of concrete and shingles and manicured grass ...
and the land thereof began to move and to be shaken ...
and the high ways ...and the buy ...ways of man... were shaken ...battered and broken ..
even so much that there was no way to turn ...or to run ...or to hide ...
and the peoples even ...fled out from ...their houses ...
and of their collections and collections and collections of things ...of the world ...
for there was no house nor thing built of mens hands ...was worthy to stand ...
and there was an horrible fear ...of being ...being in such a shaking ...
and there were religious and churchly eyes and hearts and minds and souls ...looking up at the heavens ...
and they wondered how would God allow such a thing ...
and a voice came and said ...did you think the building of your churches and temples would be honored of God ...
did you think your going to ...and serving your churches and organizations would save you ?
and did you think that the robbing of people ...with tithes ...to build your vain imaginations and wants ...would be justified ?
or the miserly meager off scourings from your pillaging excess ...that you gave to the needfull... would be counted to your glory ?
or did you think your high robes and rings and singings ...counted for anything ...
and what of spirit and truth ...did you really believe ?
and scripture came back to remembrance ...
These are the words that God spake unto Jeremie: Stand under the gates of the Lords house, and cry out these words there, with a loud voice, and say: Hear the word of the Lord all ye of Judah, that go in this door, to honor the Lord. THE SECOND TO THE CORINTHIANS Chpt 11
If the truth of Christ be in me, this rejoicing shall not be taken from me in the regions of Achaia. Wherefore? Because I love you not? God knoweth. Nevertheless what I do, that will I do, to cut away occasion from them which desire occasion, that they might be found like unto us in that wherein they rejoice. For these false apostles are deceitful workers, and fashion them selves like unto the Apostles of Christ. And no marvel, for Satan himself is changed into the fashion of an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing, though his ministers fashion them selves as though they were the ministers of righteousness: whose end shall be according to their deeds.
Ephraim giveth rewards to get lovers. Therefore are they scattered among the Heathen, There will I gather them up. They shall soon be weary of the burden of the king and princes. Ephraim hath made many altars to do wickedness, therefore shall the altars to his sin. Though I show then my law never so much, they count it as strange doctrine. Where as they do sacrifice, offering the flesh and eating it: The Lord will have no pleasure therein: but will remember their wickednesses, and punish their sins. Israel turneth again into Egypt, they have forgotten him that made them, they build churches, and Juda maketh many strong cities: therefore will I send a fire into their cities, and it shall consume their places
