and was taken and shown an high stairs ..and upon the landing ..a high up was a man ..
and came charging up the stairs ...another railing on the jews ...and boasting against them ...
and the man upon the landing above ...held out his hand ...and stopped the other who was charging up the stairs railing on the jews ...against the jews ...
Now when the man held out his hand to stop the other ...the other went falling down ..back down to the bottom of the stairs ...
and the man who had been afore on the landing came down to see if the man was hurt ...who had fallen ...fall in ...fall within ..because he had railed upon the jews and ran into the mans hand ...that tried to stop him from rising up the more ...or worse ...
and the man of the landing did look to the needs be of the man that was fallen ..to help him ...yet the man who had fallen fled and went back to his kindred ..
nevertheless the man of the landing followed upon him ...and even to the kindred of the fallen man ...
and the fallen man said please don't tell my brother why i have fallen ...for they will not understand ..
Now as the door opened ...and the brother of the fallen did enquire ...in quire ...within ask ...of what happened so dread to his brother ...did the brother try to make up a tale ...yet he could not ...
and the brother of the fallen asked the man of the landing ...what so happened to his brother ...
and the man of the landing said he had fallen ...for he had tried to rail against the jews and to boast the more against the Jews ...while he charged up the stairs ...thinking ...of his own thinking to raise himself up ...
and in his lust to raise himself up ...he ran up the stairs ...and said the man of the landing ...that he had held out his hand to stop him ...
and the man ran into the stopped hand and fell the way back down the stars ...and that fall is what hurt him ...and you see the affliction that is upon him ...
Nevertheless his afflictions can be healed if he will turn from raising himself up ...and railing against the Jews ...
even he might turn from ...his own ...zealousness ...
