and i was shown in the midst of thins ..measures and matters ...tween heaven and earth ...
and there was a field ...a plain ...field ...and a battle raged thereon and thereof ...on all the peoples ...
and there was war ...and fighting ...even from the very least to the most ...from children killing one another to whole nations at was ...
and the fighting was at every place ...and tween any and every one ...for all of all things were being ...being disputed ...and fought over ...
and the lies fought against the truth ...and the lies fought against other lies ...
and one imagination fought with another ...
and one believing a lie fought against another believing another lie ...and the same was the fighting and disputing ...even in every house and work even on the way ...
and behold in the midst of all the fighting ..even as the rage of wrong ...twisted all and every face to grimace ...there was a woman ...and she was heavy with child ...
ready to give birth
and these scriptures came to remembrance
And when the dragon saw, that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman, which brought forth the man child. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, times, and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. And the dragon cast out of his mouth water after the woman as it had been a river, because she should have been caught of the flood. *stonde: two possible words come from the Middle English: stound: meaning "a short time" and stonen: meaning "stunned". stunned because of the vision.
THE FIRST TO THE THESSALONIANS Chpt 5
Of the times and seasons brethren ye have no need that I write unto you: for ye yourselves know perfectly, that the day of the Lord shall come even as a thief in the night. When they shall say peace and no danger then cometh on the sudden destruction, as the travailing of a woman with child, and they shall not escape. But ye brethren are not in darkness, that, that day should come on you as it were a thief.
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day. We are not of the night neither of darkness.
Therefore let us not sleep as do other: but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep, sleep in the night: and they that be drunken, are drunken in the night. But let us which are of the day, be sober, armed with the breast plate of faith and love, and with hope of salvation as an helmet. For God hath not appointed us unto wrath: but to obtain salvation by the means of our Lord *Jesu Christ which died for us: that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as ye do.
