Dearly beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, how that one day is with the Lord, as a thousand year, and a thousand year as one day. The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance.

and i was taken and shown a father working to repair a thing ...
and the father did as was worthy ...making the thing as new again ...
nevertheless it took some doing and redoing of things done unworthily ...
now as he finished up ...another man came ...and laughed the father work to scorn...
Now this other man said proudly that he was an expert in things to be done ...things done afore ...and things that were present ...
and this other man began to rip apart what the father had repaired ...
and made long talks and discriptions and designs and determinations ...
and calculations and cunning and contrary things ...to what the father had said and done ...
Now when the other man was finished ...the thing looked wonderfull and glorious ...
Yet again ...again the thing did not work ...
and the other man ...blamed the father ...for doing something hidden ...and unknowing ...
and the other man said he would have to go back again and again over and over ...to make the thing work ...
Now the son came who had authority over all things ...
and he looked at his father and his works ...and was well pleased ...
and the son asked the father of the devise ...
and the father said ...it had been unworthy ...yet it was repaired ...
nevertheless the thing that was afore repaired ....Now no longer worked ...
and to this the other man ...began to rage and to accuse the father ...
and to blame the father for all the unworthiness ...and why the things did not work ...
Now the son looked at his father ...
and he looked at the other man who accused his father ...
and blamed his father ...
and had changed the things the father did ...
even the things the father had mended and repaired ...did the other man undo ...
and all that to bring credit to himself ...
and to his own works ...of his own hands ...
and i was shown a might thing being prepared to be moved ...
and the son ...looked again to his father ...
nevertheless again ...the other man ...stuck his foot in the way of the mighty thing that was to be moved ...
even that the other man would have his say in how and where and when ...the mighty thing ...might be moved ...
nevertheless the father and son looked at each other and smiled ...
and Why ? for the father and son ...knew of a truth ...that the other man could have none affect ...upon the mighty thing ...
neither ...nor ...upon the timing of the moving ...or where ...or when ...
and scripture came back to remembrance ....

The earth shall *stacker like a drunken man, and be taken away like a tent. Her misdeeds shall lay so heavy upon her, that she must fall, and never rise up again. At the same time shall the Lord muster together the high host above, and the Kings of the world upon the earth. These shall be coupled together as prisoners be, and shall be shut in one ward and punished innumerable days. The Moon and the Sun shall be ashamed, when the Lord of Hosts shall rule them at Jerusalem upon the mount Zion, before and with his excellent counsel.
The earth shall *stacker (stagger) like a drunken man.
