and behold the mountain of ice was cast into the sea ...and an might wave of waters went forth ...even as a wall of waters ...heavy and broad ...that nothing could stand in its way ...
and i was shown a cunning device of man ...of the works of mans hands ...and the the wall of waters ...came upon the works of man ...with a crushing weight ...and sweeping flush ...so much so that ...little was left of the cunning device of man ...
and the twisted heap of the works of mans devices ...stuck up out of the cold hard ground ...like mangled hairs ...in the midst of the remains ...of the habitations ...of men ...
evenso there was of those that remained ...these would receive no correction ...neither did they seek correction ...for these only thought ...what they were taught ...could only receive ...the thinking and thoughts and the ways and works ...of man ...
and none other would they receive ...for rightness and worthiness of God and Christ ...were unknown to them ...
and so these started again to make the devise ...of the cunning works of mens hands ...
and were unknowing ...that the effort was a waste ...even as the works were ...even as the thoughts were ...even as the ways of man were...
and a scripture came to remembrance ...even in the midst of the recording ...
When ye therefore shall see the abomination that betokeneth desolation, spoken of by Daniel the Prophet, stand in the holy place: let him that readeth it, understand it. Then let them which be in *Jury, fly into the mountains. And let him which is on the house top, not come down to fetch anything out of his house. Neither let him which is in the field, return back to fetch his clothes. Woe shall be in those days to them that are with child, and to them that give suck. But pray that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not from the beginning of the world to this time, nor shall be. Ye and except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the chosens sake, those days shall be shortened.
