Dearly beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, how that one day is with the Lord, as a thousand year, and a thousand year as one day. The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance. creteis@yahoo.com Behold in a nightmare of the dark season ...of the times and time ..of the season of man ...see son of man ...
and i was taken and shown a mans house ...
and the mans house was cleaned out ...
and nothing remained within ...within the mans house ...
No not anything of the lives or living that took place in the house ...
nothing of his wife ...nothing of his children ...
No not any thing ...no measure of any matter of anyone ...
evenso was the house so empty ...
and walls were bare ...
and floors sweep clean ...
even was gone ...all the images off the walls ...
and gone were all the mementos of things and places and peoples ...
and the old chairs and beds where loved ones used to sit and take rest ...
and again nothing left ...
even all cleaned and painted over ...
and floors waxed ...
and was even as though ...the mans house ...would be sold ...to another ...
and the man stood alone in the entry of the house ...
nevertheless he was leaving ...
and i looked and all that remained ...was a refrigerator ...
and only food for his stomach ...was left ...
and it was plain ...
even that everything of the mans life ...and his living ...
even the life and living of his wife ...all his children ...
even all of all there was ...was within ...within the heart of the man ...
and no longer kept in a building made with hands ...
neither displayed of images and items and objects ...of affections ...
and scripture came back to remembrance ...
The man that wandereth out of the way of wisdom, shall remain in the congregation of the dead.
He that hath pleasure in *bankettes, shall be a poor man: Who so delighteth in wine and delicates, shall not be rich.
The ungodly shall be given for the righteous, and the wicked for the just.
It is better to dwell in a wilderness, than with a chiding and an angry woman.
In a wise mans house there is great treasure and plenteousness, but a foolish body spendeth up all.
THE GOSPELL OF ST. MATTHEW Chpt 12
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh throughout dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he sayeth: I will return again into my house, from whence I came out. And when he is come, he findeth the house empty and swept and garnished. Then he goeth his way, and taketh unto him seven other spirits worse then himself, and so enter they in and dwell there. And the end of that man is worse than the beginning. Even so shall it be with this evil nation.
While he yet talked to the people: behold his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. Then one said unto him: behold thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
He answered and said to him that told him: Who is my mother? or who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand over his disciples and said: behold my mother and my brethren. For whosoever doth my fathers will which is in heaven, the same is my brother, sister and mother.THE GOSPELL OF ST. LUKE Chpt 11
When a strong man armed watcheth his house: that he possesseth is in peace. But when a stronger than he cometh upon him and overcometh him: he taketh from him his harness wherein he trusted and divideth his goods. He that is not with me, is against me. And he that gathereth not with me, scattereth.
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through waterless places, seeking rest. And when he findeth none, he sayeth: I will return again unto my house whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then goeth he and taketh to him seven other spirits worse than him self: and they enter in, and dwell there. And the end of that man, is worse than the beginning.
And it fortuned as he spake those things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him: Happy is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which gave thee suck. But he said: Ye, happy are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
When the people were gathered thick together: he began to say. This is an evil nation: they seek a sign, and there shall no sign be given them, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. For as Jonas was a sign to the Ninivites, so shall the son of man be to this nation.
