Dearly beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, how that one day is with the Lord, as a thousand year, and a thousand year as one day. The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance.

and i was taken and shown a man waking ...awaking ...awakening ...
and the mans dreams fled into his unconsciousness ...
and i was not shown if his dreams were of the world of the worldly ...or of God and Christ in spirit and truth ...
nevertheless his dreams ...vanished within him ...
and his first thought of the day came ...
even as he was awakening ...
and his eyes opened on the first seeing of the day ...
and the mans flesh stretched out from its rest ...
and made its first movements of the day ...
and hands reached out above him ...only to open and close ...flexing for strength ...gasping at the air ...
and likewise his legs and feet prepared for taking on the weight of his body ...
even as the man slipped from his bed ...onto the floor of his house ...
Now the man stood up ...again stretched the more ...standing on his own two feet ...
and he looked around the more ...quickly glancing out the window ...to see what kind of day was beginning ...
and the man looked with glazed eyes at a clock ...kept close to his head ...
and a sudden stunning shook his body ...as his brain measured the lateness of his awaking ...of his awakening ...
and the heaviness of the things he had to do in a hurry ...fell on him ...like wet stinking sticky burdensome blanket ...covering his consciousness and flesh ...
and all this took place in an instant ...for the man was late ...for his day ...
and a raging disquietness came over the man ...
and all thoughts of comfort and quietness and peace ...vanished ...
and his hands and feet and mouth began to flail and rush and speak cursing's into the empty room ...
and so the mans day began ...not unlike many days ...of his days ...
and his day went on ...
and the thoughts of his mind ...
and the speaking of his mouth ...
and the way he went of his feet ...
and all the works of his hands ...
even every each thing ...of any and all he did ...known ...measured ...
even to the last thought of his day ...
even to the beginning of his dreams as closed his eyes ...on that day ...
and what his dreams were ...every each one ...
even till he opened his eyes no more ...
and scripture came back to remembrance ...
Let us study therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example, into unbelief. For the word of God is quick, and mighty in operation, and sharper then any two edged sword: and entereth through, even unto the dividing asunder of the soul and the spirit, and of the joints and the *mary : and judgeth the thoughts and the intents of the heart: neither is there any creature invisible in the sight of him. For all things are naked and bare unto the eyes of him, of whom we speak.
