Dearly beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, how that one day is with the Lord, as a thousand year, and a thousand year as one day. The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance. creteis@yahoo.com Behold in a nightmare of the dark season ...of the times and time ..of the season of man ...see son of man ...
and i was taken and show an house of as man ...
even a house of man ...or woman ...or the world of the worldly ...
and it lay in the suburbs ...a hundred like it ...a thousand like it ...
and millions and millions like it ...
and it layed on a street all clean and kept ...
and hard side walks all round about ...going any direction ...that any might choose ...
and super ...high ...ways of man ...roaring ...raging ...relentlessly by ...
and there was a din of noisesome pestilence that was always in everyone's ears ...
and even the noise from the high ways ...of man ...
and the house sat whitish with fake shudders ...over windows of glass ...cased in plastic ...
and the house was all clean and right to look upon ...
and the lawn was all of the most greenish grass ...special grass ...expensive grass to keep ...
and the grass was artificial ...though alive ...genetically engineered ...to appear ...appear perfect ...
and the grass was of artificial color and the body of the blades were fat ...
and all of all the whole place ...appeared ...appeared to be perfect ...
and the bushes roundabout were perfect ...and the same as the grass ...artificial ...altared ..
and the trees the same ...fancy ...yet fakery ...
even foreign to the ground they grew in ...
evenso the ground was also ...fertilized and poisoned ...so that only the finest fake things grew there ...
and the waters used ...to irrigate ...were the same ...full of chemicals and poisons and radiated ...to make it ...clean ...
and the waters of the world so manipulated ...changed ...and altared ...even to make it ...drinkable ...
even that any would drink in anything ...taken in ...believe ...anything ...
and the food so fake ...of artificial flavor ...artificial color ...that anything ...is eaten ...taken in ...believed ...
and the peoples went all round about ...with smiles on their faces ...
and joy of the world of the worldly ...in their heads and hearts and souls ...
and they were full ...yet never satisfied ...of the lust of the eye ...lust of the flesh ...or the pride of goods ...
and the whitish house sat proudly in its place ...looking perfect ...in the sun light ...
Nevertheless i was taken roundabout the house ...
and in the back ...i was shown ...
and behold the house that looked perfect in the front ...and sides ...was hollow ...
and within ...within the hollowness ...of the house ...was another house ...
and the house within was a ruin ...broken shattered ...crumbling ruin ...
even like the ruins of ancient days ...
even the same ruins ...as was once the pompous pretentious proud places ...of the world of the worldly ...
and scripture came back to remembrance ...
Therefore holy brethren, partakers of the celestial callings consider the ambassador and high priest of our profession Christ Jesus, which was faithful to him that made him, even as was Moses in all his house. And yet was this man counted worthy of more glory than Moses: In as much as he which hath prepared the house, hath most honour in the house. Every house is prepared of some man. But he that ordained all things, is God. And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a minister, to bear witness of those things which should be spoken afterward. But Christ as a son, hath rule over the house, whose house are we, so that we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of that hope, unto the end.
Wherefore as the *holy ghost saith: today if ye shall hear his voice, harden not your hearts, after the rebellion in the day of temptation in the wilderness, where your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years long. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation and said: They *erre ever in their hearts: they verily have not known my ways so that I sware in my wrath, that they should not enter into my rest. Take heed brethren that there be in none of you an evil heart in unbelief, that he should depart from the living God: but exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you wax hard hearted through the deceitfulness of sin.THE GOSPELL OF ST. JOHN Chpt 15
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you, that ye go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit remain, that whatsoever ye shall ask of the father in my name, he should give it you.
This command I you, that ye love together. If the world hate you, ye know that he hated me before he hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own. How be it because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore hateth you the world. Remember the saying that I said unto you: the servant is not greater than the Lord.THE FIRST EPISTLE OF ST. JOHN Chpt 2
See that ye love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the father is not in him. For all that is in the world (as the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of goods) is not of the father, but of the world. And the world vanisheth away and the lust there of: but he that fulfilleth the will of God, abideth ever.
THE GOSPELL OF ST. MATTHEW Chpt 23
Woe be to you Scribes and Pharisees hypocrites, for ye are like unto painted tombs which appear beautiful outward: but are within full of dead bones and of all filthiness. So are ye, for outward ye appear righteous unto men, when within, ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
THE ACTS OF THE APOSTLES Chpt 23
Paul beheld the council and said: men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day. The high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by to smite him on the mouth. Then said Paul to him: God smite thee, thou painted wall. Sittest thou and judgest me after the law? and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law? And they that stood by, said: revilest thou Gods high Priest? Then said Paul: I wist not brethren, that he was the high priest. For it is written, thou shalt not curse the ruler of thy people.
THE GOSPELL OF ST. JOHN Chpt 4
As soon as the Lord had knowledge, how the Pharisees had heard, that Jesus made and baptised more disciples then John (though that Jesus him self baptised not: but his disciples) he left Jewry, and departed again in to Galile. And it was so that he must needs go through Samaria. Then came he to a city of Samaria called Sichar, besides the possession that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. And there was Jacobs well. Jesus then wearied in his journey, sat thus on the well. And it was about the sixth hour: and there came a woman of Samaria to draw water. And Jesus said unto her: give me drink. For his disciples were gone away unto the town to buy meat. Then said the woman of Samaria unto him: how is it, that thou being a Jewe, askest drink of me, which am a Samaritan? for the Jewes meddle not with the Samaritans. Jesus answered and said unto her: if thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that sayeth to thee give me drink, thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee water of life. The woman said unto him. Sir thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that water of life? Art thou greater then our father Jacob which gave us the well, and he himself drank thereof, and his children, and his cattle?
Jesus answered and said unto her: whosoever drinketh of this water, shall thirst again. But whosoever shall drink of the water that I shall give him, shall never be more a thirst: but the water that I shall give him, shall be in him a well of water, springing up into everlasting life. The woman said unto him: Sir give me of that water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. Jesus said unto her. Go and call thy husband, and come hither. The woman answered and said to him: I have no husband. Jesus said to her: Thou hast well said, I have no husband. For thou hast had five husbands, and he whom thou now hast, is not thy husband. That saidst thou truly.
The woman said unto him: Sir I perceive that thou art a Prophet. Our fathers worshipped in this mountain: and ye say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Jesus said unto her: woman believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the father. Ye worship ye *wot not what: we know what we worship. For salvation cometh of the Jewes. But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the father in spirit, and in truth. For verily such the father requireth to worship him. God is a spirit, and they that worship him, must worship him, in spirit and truth.THE GOSPELL OF ST. JOHN Chpt 6
Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth on me, hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat Manna in the wilderness and are dead? This is that bread which cometh from heaven that he which eateth of it, should also not die. I am that living bread which came down from heaven. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever. And the bread that I will give, is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
And the Jewes strove among themselves saying: How can this fellow give us his flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them: Verily, verily I say unto you, except ye eat the flesh of the son of man, and drink his blood, ye shall not have life in you. Whosoever eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life: and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed: and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me and I in him. As the living father hath sent me, even so live I by my father: and he that eateth me shall live by me. This is the bread which came from heaven: not as your fathers have eaten Manna and are dead. He that eateth of this bread, shall live ever.
These things said he in the synagogue as he taught in Capernaum. Many therefore of his disciples: when they had heard this, said: this is an hard saying: who can abide the hearing of it? Jesus knew in himself, that his disciples murmured at it, and said unto them: Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the son of man ascend up where he was before? It is the spirit that quickeneth, the flesh profiteth nothing. The words that I speak unto you, are spirit and life. But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning, which they were that believed not, and who should betray him. And he said: Therefore said I unto you: that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my father.
From that time many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus to the twelve: will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered: Master to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life, and we believe and know that thou art Christ the son of the living God. Jesus answered them: Have not I chosen you twelve, and yet one of you is the devil? He spake it of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon. For he it was that should betray him, and was one of the twelve
