And measures and matters of The Truth of the "time" we are in ...how "man" ..."thought to change time and times ... ...and the grapes...
Dearly beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, how that one day is with the Lord, as a thousand year, and a thousand year as one day. The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance. creteis@yahoo.com Behold in a nightmare of the dark season ...of the times and time ..of the season of man ...see son of man ...
and i was taken and shown a place ...
and it was like an house of the world ...
even on the crooked street of the world ...
and within and with out ...they were pouring the hardness of concrete...
and upon the crooked street ...horrible hard ...battlement concrete was poured out ...
even so wicked that children could not play...even on the side ...side walks ...
and the people grieved sore ...that the children could not play ...
nevertheless the hard and swift and mean and rude regulations ...stood ...
and the concrete was poured upon ...and made hard the ways of man ...
and against any of the children ....that might desire to play ...
and the regulations and the hardness of the concrete ...was put upon...all the side ...walks ...
even on all the corners ...of every street ...
and the streets became a danger to the children ...because of the policies and hardness ...
and the danger of harm and hurt ...
and the more concrete was poured in the houses of man ...
even of the same ...
and especially in the bed rooms ...where any might have rest ...
and crooked floors were poured ...
and hard curbs and gutters made ...through out the house ...
and the heavy hardness ...was poured out over all the places ...
and the rich thought it proud ...
and the women thought it stylish ...
and every one was put to labor ...in the making of the houses hard ...
and filled with concrete ...and the pouring out of the world...
and the pouring out of hardness went on and on ...that no one could take rest ...
and why ? ...for none can rest while the concrete is ...being ...is being poured ...
and none could have rest ...for where there was room to rest ...
even that room was poured in hardness of concrete ...
and made smooth and toweled and polished and painted ...
and stained ...
even to look like marble ...richly ...
and i was sore troubled and disquieted of being ...being shown these measures of matters ...
and why? for the world seemed full of hardness...
and that poured in concrete ...
and the world seemed to be sore shaken and darkness all roundabout ...
and i prayed of deep heart for quietness of my soul ...
even that i might see in such hardness and dread darkness ...
and i looked ...and Behold there was ...stems shown me ...
and i was drawn closer ...and they were the bare stems of grapes ...
and they the empty stems laid on the hard concrete floor ...of a room ...of the world ...
even in the same room where any might have had rest ...
and i prayed the more of being ...being shown and empty stem of grapes ...
and the grapes all gone ...
and i mighty shout came ...as to shake me awake ...
and the shout was "THE HARVEST" ...
and scripture came to remembrance ...
THE GOSPELL OF ST. MATTHEW Chpt 9
And Jesus went about all cities and towns, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the glad tidings of the kingdom, and healing all manner sickness and disease among the people. But when he saw the people, he had compassion on them, because they were pined away, and scattered abroad, even as sheep having no shepherd.
Then said he to his disciples: the harvest is great, but the laborers are few. Wherefore pray the Lord of the harvest, to send forth laborers into his harvest.THE GOSPELL OF ST. MATTHEW Chpt 13
Another similitude put he forth unto them saying: The kingdom is like unto a man which sowed good seed in his field. But while men slept there came his foe and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. When the blade was sprung up and had brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. Then came the servants to the householder, and said unto him: Sir sowest thou good seed in thy *close, from whence then hath it tares? He said to them: the envious man hath done this. Then the servants said unto him: wilt thou then that we go and weed them out? But he said, nay, lest while ye go about to weed out the tares, ye pluck up also with them the wheat by the roots: let both grow together till harvest come, and in time of harvest, I will say to the reapers, gather ye first the tares, and bind them in sheaves to be burnt: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Another parable he put forth unto them saying. The kingdom of heaven is like unto a grain of mustard seed, which a man taketh and soweth in his field, which is the least of all seeds. But when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and it is a tree: so that the birds of the air come and build in the branches of it.
Another similitude said he to them. The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven which a woman taketh and hideth in three pecks of meal, till all be leavened.
All these things spake Jesus unto the people by similitudes, and with out similitudes spake he nothing to them, to fulfil that which was spoken by the Prophet saying: I will open my mouth in similitudes, and will speak forth things which have been kept secret from the beginning of the world.
Then sent Jesus the people away, and came home. And his disciples came unto him, saying: declare unto us the similitude of the tares in the field. Then answered he and said to them. He that soweth the good seed, is the son of man. And the field is the world. And the children of the kingdom, they are the good seed. And the tares are the children of the wicked. And the enemy that soweth them, is the devil. The harvest is the end of the world. And the reapers be the Angels. For even as the tares are gathered and burnt in the fire: be in the end of this world. The son of man shall send forth his Angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity, and shall cast them into a furnace of fire. There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the just men shine as bright as the *son in the kingdom of their father. Whosoever hath ears to hear, let him hear.
THE GOSPELL OF ST. MARK Chpt 4
And he said: so is the kingdom of God, even as if a man should sow seed in the ground, and should sleep and rise up night and day: and the seed should spring and grow up, he not ware. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself: first the blade, then the ears, after that full corn in the ears. And as soon as the fruit is brought forth, *anon he thrusteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
THE GOSPELL OF ST. LUKE Chpt 10
After these things, the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before him into every city and place, whither he himself would come. And he said unto them, the harvest is great but the laborers are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest, to send forth laborers into his harvest. Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. Bear no wallet, neither scrip, nor shoes, and salute no man by the way. Into whatsoever house ye enter, first say: Peace be to this house. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon him: if not, it shall return to you again. And in the same house tarry still, eating and drinking such as they have. For the laborer is worthy of his reward.
Go not from house to house: and into whatsoever city ye enter, if they receive you, eat such things as are set before you, and heal the sick that are there, and say unto them: the kingdom of God is come nigh upon you. But into whatsoever city ye shall enter, if they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same and say: even the very dust, which cleaveth on us of your city, we wipe off against you: Notwithstanding, mark this that the kingdom of God was come nigh upon you. Yea and I say unto you, that it shall be easier in that day for *Zodome than for that city.
THE GOSPELL OF ST. JOHN Chpt 4
And in the mean while his disciples prayed him saying: Master, eat. He said unto them: I have meat to eat, that ye know not of. Then said the disciples between themselves: hath any man brought him meat? Jesus said unto them: my meat is to do the will of him that sent me. And to finish his work. Say not ye: there are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold I say unto you, lift up your eyes, and look on the regions: for they are white already unto harvest. And he that reapeth receiveth reward, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth, and he that reapeth might rejoice together. And herein is the saying true, that one soweth, and another reapeth. I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labor. Other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labors
