and i was taken and shown the earth ...from the heavens ...
and the earth hung there in the heavens upon nothing ...
and in an instant ...the earth became a fruit ...like an apple ...
and the apple was ripe ...ready to harvest ...
and i looked again ...
and Behold the apple was rotten ...
even wormish ...
and its skin was all bruised and scared and coming off ...
and in another instant the earth appeared as before ...like a worthy apple ready for harvest ...
Yet in the next instant ... again it changed ...like unto an apple ...too rotten for harvest ...
Or passed harvest ...
Even then again ...it changed back again ...and was like a fresh ...fruit ...of the harvest ...
and i prayed and wondered a mighty wonder ...
and scripture came back to remembrance ...
Job answered, and said: O how helped you the weak? what comfort give you unto him that has no strength? Where is that counsel that you should give him, which has no wisdom? Will you so show your excellent righteousness? Before whom have you spoken those words? Who made the breath to come out of that mouth: The giants and worthies that are slayen, and lay under the world with their companions: yes and all they that dwell beneath in the hell are not hid from him, and that very destruction it self can not be kept out of his sight.
