The Truth of the "time" we are in ...

cowboy pride ...the finger of God ...

And measures and matters of The Truth of the "time" we are in ...how "man" ..."thought to change time and times ...

...and the marriage...

Dearly beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, how that one day is with the Lord, as a thousand year, and a thousand year as one day. The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance.

Behold in a dream during the dark season ...of the times and time ..of the season of man ...see son of man ...

and i was taken and shown a place ...

and it was a place of today ...of the old west ...

      and of cowboys ...

and the cowboy ways ...or so they say ...

and there was a state basketball tournament ...for the peoples to go to ...

and of the small town much pride that they would go ...

and of the proud town ...a proud house ...of a proud family ...

and others came to gather up with the proud family ...

and others gathered elsewhere ...each with others ...that they might go their own way ...to the big game ...

Nevertheless at the proud house ...came proud vehicles ...

and one compared to the other ...

and even homes on wheels ...

and at the proud house a few ...gathered up ...with each other ...to go ...to travel together ...where they might go ...

and there was a meeting ...in a building ...a proud church of man ...or a proud school of man ...i was not shown ...

and the dad of the proud house ...stood in front of all ...

and he was proud that he wore "many hats " ...and showed his many hats to all ...

nevertheless he was most proud of his cowboy hat ...and that he wore ...

and the young men did the same ...and wore their proud cowboy hats the same ...

and the dad talked about the game ...that was to come ...

and being ...fair ...and honest ...and a good ...good sportsman ...

and not to tarnish the pride of the team ...

and all of all were in agreement ...

and they prepared their way ...to go ...

and made provisions for themselves ...in their proud homes on wheels ...

and they took to the ..highway ...high ways ...and when toward the big game ...

and as they went they boasted who would make the most ..points ...

and who was the better player ...

and what cunning strategy they would use to ...win ...

and as they traveled they talked the more of things and deeds and doings ...that they were proud of ...

and what they might do in the future ...proudly ...

and the dad who had driven ...

and was driving ...asked one of the young men ...what he was going to do ...

and the young man answered ...if you will allow ...i will marry your daughter ...

and the dad smiled ...for the young man was acceptable to him ...

and he was proud of his accomplishments ...

and would be proud to have him ...marry his daughter ....

nevertheless the dad smiled and said ...will you have to run that by my daughter ...and he laughed ...

and the other young men smiled ...

and had honored the dad and his daughter ...

and had not preyed upon the daughter for lust ...

and she had not wasted her maidenhead for lust ...

and none of the men knew ...that the young women were listening to them talk...

and the daughter who might be the bride smiled ...secretly ...

and the young woman was full of excitement and joy ...

and looked ever so much for the wedding day ...

and so the wedding ...was thought about by all ...

Yet the groom had not asked the bride ...though the dad was asked ...for the bride ...

and he approved ...even if ...out of pride ...

Now as they were traveling they came to the place where they might stretch their legs  ...

and they pulled over in a place they thought ...thought would be worthy ...

and it seemed to be a pleasant place ...of trees and shade and sun shine ...

and fresh air and a slight breeze blowing ...

and the sun glistened on the proud motor home ...

and they took their walk around ...

and had time to enjoy the place ...

and talked the more ...and the more proudly... about the game ...to come ...

      and how to win ...

and the young man and woman talked ...

and he asked he to be his bride ...

and she said yes ...even with all her heart ...

and much joy and quickening of spirits came over all ...most about the game...

and the young man and woman ...about the wedding ...

and they entered back into the proud motor home ...and went their way ...to the big game ...

and they arrived at the place ...where the big game was to be played ...

and there was a meeting ...in a building ...a proud church of man ...or a proud school of man ...i was shown ...

and all of all ...the proud preparations ...that were made ...were finished ...

and all the calculated ways ...to win ...were finalized ...

and every strategy ...ever imagined ...considered ...

and just as the game might start ...a dark cloud ...boiled on the horizon ...

and a mighty storm moved ...across ...a cross the land ...

and in an instant all that was proud ...was taken away ...

and the proud buildings were swept away ...

and all that was of the churches was taken away ...

and all that was of the schools was taken away ...

and the proud ways and means vanished ...

and all the proud plans ands cunning imaginations ...were forgotten ...

and the proud hats ...flew away ...and disappeared in the storm ...

and the whole place was ...left like a heap of dung ...

and the place stunk ...to high Heaven ...

and only thing that remained was the souls of the few ...peoples ...

and the proud dad ...lost his pride and everything thereof ...

as well as any other ...

and they all huddled together ...and wept ...for joy fullness ...just to be alive ...

and of all and all of any thought that remained ...

only did the young man and woman ...look to the wedding ...

and in the old cowboy days ...they used to call tornadoes ...the finger of God ...

and scripture came back to remembrance ...

THE GOSPELL OF ST. MARK Chpt 7

And he called all the people unto him, and said unto them: Hearken unto me, every one of you and understand. There is nothing with out a man that can defile him when it entereth into him: but those things which proceed out of him, are those which defile the man. If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. And when he came to house away from the people, his disciples asked him of the similitude. And he said unto them: Are ye so without, understanding? Do ye not yet perceive, that whatsoever thing from without, entereth into a man, it cannot defile him, because it entereth not in to his heart, but into the belly: and goeth out into the *draught that purgeth out all meats.
And he said: that defileth a man which cometh out of a man. For from with in, even out of the heart of men proceed evil thoughts: *advoutry, fornication, murder, theft, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, uncleanness, and a wicked eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: all these evil things come from with in, and defile a man.

THE FIRST EPISTLE OF ST. JOHN Chpt 2

See that ye love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the father is not in him. For all that is in the world (as the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of goods) is not of the father, but of the world. And the world vanisheth away and the lust there of: but he that fulfilleth the will of God, abideth ever.

THE GOSPELL OF ST. LUKE Chpt 1

My soul magnifieth the Lord. And my spirit rejoiceth in God my saviour. For he hath looked on the poor degree of his handmaiden. Behold now from henceforth shall all generations call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things, and holy is his name. And his mercy is on them that fear him throughout all generations. He showeth strength with his arm, he scattereth them that are proud in the imagination of their hearts. He putteth down the mighty from their seats, and exalteth them of low degree. He filleth the hungry with good things: and sendeth away the rich empty. He remembereth mercy: and helpeth his servant Israel.

ST. PAUL TO THE ROMANS Chpt 1

And as it seemed not good unto them to be a known of God, even so God delivered them up unto a lewd mind, that they should do those things which were not comely, being full of all unrighteous doing, of fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, evil conditioned, whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, doers of wrong, proud, boasters, bringers up of evil things, disobedient to father and mother, without understanding, covenant breakers, unloving, truce breakers and merciless. Which men though they knew the righteousness of God, how that they which commit such things, are worthy of death, yet not only do the same, but also have pleasure in them that do them

THE SECOND TO TIMOTHYE Chpt 3

This understand, that in the last days shall come parlous times. For the men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, cursed speakers, disobedient to father and mother, unthankful, unholy, unkind, trucebreakers, stubborn, false accusers, rioters, fierce despisers of them which are good, traitors, heady, high minded, greedy upon voluptuousness more then lovers of God, having a similitude of Godly living, but have denied the power thereof: and such abhor. Of this sort are they which enter into houses, and bring into bondage women laden with sin, which women are led of *diverse lusts, ever learning and never able to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

THE FIRST EPISTLE OF ST. PETER Chpt 5

The elders which are among you, I exhort, which am also an elder and a witness of the afflictions of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be opened: see that ye feed Christs flock which is among you taking the oversight of them not as though ye were compelled thereto, but willingly: not for the desire of filthy lucre, but of a good mind, not as though ye were lords over the parishes: but that ye be an example to the flock. And when the chief shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive an incorruptible crown of glory. Likewise ye younger submit your selves unto the elder. Submit your selves every man, one to another, knit yourselves together in lowliness of mind. For God resisteth the proud and giveth grace to the humble. Submit your selves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you, when the time is come. Cast all your care to him: for he careth for you.

THE EPISTLE OF JUDAS Chpt 1

reserved the mist of darkness for ever.
Enoch the seventh from Adam prophesied before of such, saying. Behold, the Lord shall come with thousands of saints, to give judgement against all men, and to rebuke all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds, which they have ungodly committed, and of all their cruel speakings, which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts, whose mouths speak proud things. They have men in great reverence because of advantage. But ye beloved, remember the words which were spoken before of the Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, how that they told you that there should be beguilers in the last time which should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These are makers of sects, fleshly, having no spirit.
But ye dearly beloved, edify your selves in your most holy faith, praying in the holy ghost, and keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, unto eternal life. And have compassion on some, separating them: and other save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, and hate the filthy vesture of the flesh.

THE GOSPELL OF ST. MATTHEW Chpt 9

Then came the Disciples of John to him saying: why do we and the Pharisees fast oft: but thy Disciples fast not? And Jesus said unto them: Can the wedding children mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast. No man pieceth an old garment with a piece of new cloth. For then taketh he away the piece again from the garment, and the rent is made greater. Neither do men put new wine into old vessels, for then the vessels break, and the wine runneth out, and the vessels perish. But they pour new wine into new vessels, and so are both saved together.
While he thus spake unto them, behold there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying: my daughter is even now deceased, but come and lay thy hand on her, and she shall live. And Jesus arose and followed him with his disciples. And behold a woman which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him and touched the hem of his vesture. For she said in herself: if I may touch but even his vesture only, I shall be safe. Then Jesus turned him about, and beheld her saying: Daughter be of good comfort, thy faith hath made thee safe. And she was made whole even that same hour.

THE GOSPELL OF ST. MATTHEW Chpt 22

And Jesus answered and spake unto them again, in similitudes, saying. The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain King, which married his son, and sent forth his servants, to call them that were bid to the wedding, and they would not come. Again he sent forth other servants, saying. Tell them which are bidden: behold I have prepared my dinner, mine oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready, come unto the marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways: one to his *firm place, another about his merchandise, the remnant took his servants and intreated them ungodly and slew them. When the king heard that, he was wroth, and sent forth his warriors and destroyed those murderers, and burnt up their city.
Then said he to his servants: the wedding was prepared. But they which were bidden, were not worthy. Go ye therefore out into the highways, and as many as ye find, bid them to the marriage. The servants went out into the highways, and gathered to gether as many as they could find, both good and bad, and the wedding was furnished with guests. Then the king came in, to visit the guests, and spied there a man which had not on a wedding garment, and said unto him: friend, how fortuned it that thou camest in hither and hast not on a wedding garment? And he was even speechless. Then said the king to his ministers: take and bind him hand and foot, and cast him into utter darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called and few be chosen.

THE GOSPELL OF ST. MATTHEW Chpt 25

Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went to meet the bridegroom: five of them were foolish, and five were wise. The foolish took their lamps, but took none oil with them. But the wise took oil with them in their vessels with their lamps also. While the bridegroom tarried, all slumbered and slept. And even at midnight, there was a cry made: behold, the bridegroom cometh, go out against him. Then all those virgins arose, and prepared their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise: give us of your oil, for our lamps go out. But the wise answered saying: Not so, lest there be not enough for us and you: but go rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came: and they that were ready, went in with him to the wedding, and the gate was shut up. Afterwards came also the other virgins saying: Master, master, open to us. But he answered and said: verily I say unto you: I know not you. Watch therefore: for ye know neither the day not yet the hour, when the son of man shall come.

THE GOSPELL OF ST. LUKE Chpt 5

Then they said unto him: Why do the disciples of John fast often and pray, and the disciples of the Pharisees also: and thine eat and drink? And he said unto them: Can ye make the children of the wedding fast, as long as the bridegroom is present with them? The days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them: then shall they fast in those days.
