and i was on the face of the earth ...testifying ..of the verity (realness) of God our father and Jesus our brother and Lord ...
Now a worldly man came and said ...come with me ...for he though i could help him ...
and he took me to an high cold mountain ...that he owned ...and upon it was all the buildings and devices of man ...all the stores and mauls ...and services ...all of all were there ...up on his high mountain ...
and it was a strange place ...for it was like all in ruin and of decay and rot ...yet none that were there in the high place could see it ...
and all of all went to work and home and played and work and home and play ...without regard for the decay or the ruin or the rot of it ...
Now said the worldly man to me ...start preaching ...so as to make the people feel better and to care ...so they might care about the things and ways and works of the world and of this high place ...
and so i did ...and began again ...as afore ...even as of ever ... testifying ..of the verity (realness) of God our father and Jesus our brother and Lord ...
and in an instant many came and were interested ...yet with only testimony and sharing each others fellowship of the same ...most all left and only a few remained ...
and of the few that remained ...they then were moved to leave the high cold mountain of the world...
and so mine testimony in spirit and truth of the verity (realness) of God our father and Jesus our brother and Lord ...did not accomplish what the worldly man wanted ...namely to make the cold high mountain look better and keep it going ...
evenso a young man came and said ...hey ...that he knew a way to make the people feel better and take pride in and of the things of the world ...and the works thereof ...and to feel better in their spirits ...like to enhance ...in hands ...their spirituality ....
and so i asked him ...to say ...and what it was that would accomplish such a thing ...
and he said ...oh all we have to do is rewrite the Word of God a little ...very subtly ...so we can build temples again ...outside the hearts of the peoples ...and then give them honor and so pride in the works of their hands ...and invent a bunch of cerimoanies ...and traditions ...and pour in more pride of those things ...and of course ...say it is all of the will of God ...and that God likes it and will bless them ...so they can look to worldly rewards ...and that can be their hope ...
and the more he said ...so that the people will go to work and home and play and go play church and temple and the more and work and home and play ...and play holy ceremonies and pretend traditions righteously ...and off to work again ...
and i said ...they allready tried that ...and it did worked to deceive ... for a while ...yet nearer and nearer the end ...people didn't buy that raft ...any more ...or pay for ...the proud presumptuous pretending anymore ...neither tithe for the temples ...made with mens hands ...outside themselves ...anymore ...
and i looked ...and the last thing tried was Godless psychology ...the false science ...of playing on ...and manipulating the minds and nature of peoples ...to keep the cold mountain running ...
for truth and rightness had left the place ...
and i was shown the helpless elderly ...cared for ..kept in rooms like cardboard boxes ...like rotting worms ...looked after by young women ...who were filling their need for caring ...
and young men labored for their boasting ...
and i remembered the warning against the high places of the world ...even as it is written ...
The devil took him up again and led him in to an exceeding high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and all the glory of them, and said to him: all these will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then said Jesus unto him. Avoid, Satan. For it is written, thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
...even before ...Then devil took him up into the holy city, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him: if thou be the son of God, cast thy self down. For it is written: he shall give his angels charge over thee, and with their hands they shall hold thee up, that thou dash not thy foot against a stone. I know thy works that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou were cold or hot. So then because thou art between both, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth: because thou sayst thou art rich and increased with goods, and hast need of nothing, and knowest not how thou art: wretched and miserable, poor, blind, and naked. I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayst be rich: and white raiment, that thou mayst be clothed, that thy filthy nakedness do not appear: and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayst see.
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Be fervent therefore and repent. Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in unto him and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh, will I grant to sit with me in my seat, even as I over came and have sitten with my father, in his seat. Let him that hath ears, hear what the spirit saith unto the congregations.
