Behold a dream in the day of heat ...and approaching storm ...even a darkening ...and i was awakened by barking dogs ...as i rested in prayer upon my bed ...
Nevertheless ...a flag was shown me ...and of the nation ...iam ...namely "america" ...even the eagle whose wings cover the earth ...
and it was of this nation ...whose flag i was shown ...and that plainly ...and it waved ...in its errors ...
and i was shown the more ..as i was given to look see the more ...and Behold the flag began to turn red ...red and i was astonished ...as it began from the very begining ...of the banner flag ...where it was attached to the high pole ...there it began to turn red ...
and even so ...was the pole ..rooted hard in the world ...as was shown me ...
and at its highest it was ...the pole being as high as it could be ...so it began ...where the flag was attached to the pole ....did it begin to turn red ...
and i was astounded ...and the more ...till the whole flag ...as could be seen plainly ...was as though all and fully red ...and no white of it...seen no not stars of it...neither any blue of it... could be seen ...even as it was shown me ...all red ...from its high pole to the very end ...red ...and only red ...
even did i pray the more ...for a trembling came upon me ...and i was taken roundabout ....to look at the flag from the other side ...that side hidden ...
and i was the more astounded ...for there hidden on the back side ...was the stars and stripes ...and white and blue ...and i wondered of the measure of matters ...of heart and head ...before God and Christ ...for it seemeth to me that there be hidden ...behind the red flag's front ..still ...an american flag ...a banner of the country ...of i am ...
The ...Behold as i discerned the matters in mine heart and soul ...as i looked upon that hidden part ...namely the part unseen ...
behold even that part starred to become red ...that hidden part of the flag that remained ...of many colors ...that hidden part began to turn red ...as though stain ...stain from the showing side began to overcome the whiteness the blueness the starness ...and the stripes thereof ...
Even did i wonder if the flag of many colors might be hidden between ...between ...the blood red flag ...as it had became red on all sides ...
and i was astounded ...for i prayed ...is this of the world Lord ? ...that this flag becomes another ..of another nation ? ...of the world of the worldly ? ...(for there are nations of the world with such mostly red flags ) ...
and the Lord spoke to me in the quietness of my being ...showing me ...that no this turning was not of the world ...of another nation taking over this nation ...Yet was of the spirit and heart ...and of the blood of the nation ...
Even so as were their hearts so became their banners ..."redness" ...
and i put the dogs away ...in shelter ...for they are fearfull of the storm that is coming ...
Nevertheless the most fearless dog stayed out side ...for he can weather more of a storm than the fainty ...
Yet even he ...the most fearless of creatures ...would become as stunned ...and shaking ...when the worst of storms comes ...
Even then ...even him ...of dread storm comes ...then ...i have to bring him in...to shelter ...that he might be safe and saved ...
yet he does not go where the other dogs are kept ...(who go to their own habitation) ...no ...the most fearless ...is brought into the house ...and lays on the carpet ...of my living ...room ...
And Isaac made intercession unto the Lord for his wife: because she was barren: and the Lord was entreated of him, and Rebecca his wife conceived: and the children strove together within her. Then she said: if it should go so to pass, what helpeth it that I am with child? And she went and asked the Lord. And the Lord said unto her: there are two manner of people in thy womb, and two nations shall spring out of thy bowels, and the one nation shall be mightier than the other, and the eldest shall be servant unto the younger.
And when her time was come to be delivered: behold there were two twins in her womb. And he that came out first was red and rough over all as it were an hide: and they called his name Esau. Jacob boiled pottage, and Esau came from the field and was fainty, and said to Jacob: let me sip of the red pottage, for I am fainty. And therefore was his name called Edom. And Jacob said: sell me this day thy birthright. And Esau answered: Lo I am at the point to die, and what profit shall this birthright do me? And Jacob said: swear to me then this day. And he swore to him, and sold his birthright unto Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of red rice. And he ate and drank and rose up, and went his way. And so Esau regarded not his birthright.
Neither was it to with her only: but also when Rebecca was with child by one, I mean by our father Isaac, yer (before) the children were born, when they had neither done good neither bad: that the purpose of God which is by election, might stand, it was said unto her, not by the reason of works, but by grace of the caller: the elder shall serve the younger. As it is written: Jacob he loved, but Esau he hated. What shall we say then? is there any unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses: I will show mercy to whom I show mercy: and will have compassion on whom I have compassion. So lieth it not then in a mans will or cunning, but in the mercy of God. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh even for this same purpose have I stirred thee up, to show my power on thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the world. So hath he mercy on whom he will, and whom he will, he maketh hard hearted.
