God's Truth: Royal Robe...ya right...

Dearly beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, how that one day is with the Lord, as a thousand year, and a thousand year as one day. The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance.

Behold in a nightmare of the dark season ...of the times and time ..of the season of man ...see son of man ...

and i was taken and shown a high and richly place ...

even as a very expensive hotel ...only for the very rich ...and powerful ...

and in the midst of the place ...was a vast lobby ...

and the lobby was all garnished in marble and gold and mirrors ...

and polished dark woods bordered the riches of the room ...

and heavy chandeliers glittered and glistened in the firey light of the place ...

and the servants spoke only in certain words to the patrons of the place ...

even a language only used as servants might ...to such high and mighty and rich people ...

Now as i stood there a man came up to the vast gilded counter ...

and i looked and he was dressed in a long crimson red robe with a high collar and a hood ...

and the hood covered the mans face ...

and i looked again ...and gold threads and broidery covered the robe ...

and jewels were sewn in here and there ...

and to look at ..it was so richly to the eyes ...i thought it to be a stage costume ...

even like a robe of rich royalty ...

and i looked the more to see that mans face ...that was coved by the hood ...

Yet his face was covered the more ...

and so i asked ...if there was a play in the hotel ...?

and if he was an actor therein ...?

Now to this there was a grumbling ...within the reddish royal robe ...

and a malignant miserable face showed itself a little ...

even out of the fabulous folds of the hood ...of the gilded robe ...

and the face looked down ...on me like i was in a pit of ignorance ...

and that for asking of a costume ...or a performance ...or an imaginary play ...of actors ...

and eyes ...all reddish and glaring ..peered out ...as if to say you are so ignorant and pathetic ...

and that i should know who this robed person was ...

and the ever so very high position that he held ...

and least ways that the robe was real ...and no costume ...

and crooked lips said ...in gnarled voice ..."people are not allowed to look at me ...in my face ...when i am wearing my robes ..."

and they must turn their faces away and bow when i pass by ...

and i thought ...this guy is serious !!! ...about this ...

and i was astounded ...at the utter stupidity of the thing ...

and laughed the more... that such utter stupidity ...could so highly honored ...

and said OH... ya ...right !!

and a nightmare came back to remembrance that i had been shown long ago ...

and I looked inside a church ...within was a number of people ...and they were preparing for a certain ...cerimoany ...(moan) as these were taught and told to do ...as well ...within yet in another room ...was a man preparing himself ...as he put on robes and a large head covering ...and his robe was all red and gilded with gold ..as well highly imbossed as was the large hat that he put on ... <--click on for link to nightmare)

and a scripture came back to remembrance ...

THE GOSPELL OF ST. MATTHEW Chpt 4

Then was Jesus led away of the spirit into wilderness, to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered. Then came to him the tempter, and said: if thou be the son of God, command that these stones be made bread. He answered and said: it is written, man shall not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God
      Then devil took him up into the holy city, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him: if thou be the son of God, cast thy self down. For it is written: he shall give his angels charge over thee, and with their hands they shall hold thee up, that thou dash not thy foot against a stone. And Jesus said to him, it is written also: Thou shall not tempt thy Lord God.
      The devil took him up again and led him in to an exceeding high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and all the glory of them, and said to him: all these will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then said Jesus unto him. Avoid, Satan. For it is written, thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
      Then the devil left him, and behold, the angels came and ministered unto him.
