Nevertheless i was taken and shown an military base of the eagle ...us ...whether it be of the wicked eagle of 4th Esdras ...or the great eagle of Revelation...i was not shown ...
Yet was shown me was this nuclear ...new clear ...military base ...and a general officer thereof ...and a secret warning had been given him ...of the people who search out secrets ...and to warn him of a security breach that might come upon the base that he was in charge of ...was general over ...
And was shown me his office ...as he sat there and discerned the matter and how to prevent any security breach on his base ...
and so he looked to the incoming and out going from the base ...and alerted the guards to be more the cautious ...and to be very stiff in their keeping of the gates ...and to send to him any applications for entry ...of anyone not authorized to enter ...
Now did the general see there were two people coming to the base ..who were not part of the staff of the base ...and to these he would look to very diligently ...
One was a reporter ...like story writer ...and the other like a civilian contract worker...who was somewhat like a genius ...of electronics and such ...
Now as the general looked over papers of each ...of the writer ...he would interview a doctor at the base...who was also widow of a fighter pilot for her story ...for to printed in the paper or book that he was writing ...
and of the civilian contract worker ...for he was to help with highly critical computer problems ...in an area of highest security ...
Yet to the reporter would the general look upon the more sternly ...for it was that the general had goodly caring for the widow (widow of one of his pilots )...that had turned into great affection for the doctor ...
and of the civilian contract worker he would look to and yet ask ...a major in charge of the computer security ...
Now it came to pass that the general waxed grievous against the reporter ...for as time passed and he watched did the reporter and the widow spend much time together ...at places of pleasure and leisure all roundabout the base ...and he was sore jealous ...
and the more for he then called for the reporter to be brought into his office and so it was done ...and he looked more sternly upon the reporter ...and questioned him at great length ...about the measure of matters of his writings...and more so secretly (he thought) to know of the widows affections ...
Now unknown to either the general or the reporter was the state of the widow so sore vexed over the loss of her husband ...that she wanted no more to do with any man that might be killed and taken away from her again ...and even so sore vexed that she had considered ...yet had not fallen to ...a relationship with another woman ...for it was within her that it is a thing abhorred of God and Christ ...
Yet the general pursued her more and any in formation that the reporter might let slip ...evenso the reporter did not ...for he was expert in measures of matters of peoples ...(though the general was not ) ...and picked up on why the general questioned him so ...and the reason was not for security reasons ...yet was for to look into the affections of the widow ...
and it was so that the reporter had played upon the affections of the widow ...so as to make for a better story ...(though she knew it )...evenso she intertained ...of the possible reporter's affections ...for he was a handsome man ...
Now as was shown me the general was overwhelmed ...with this looking in the works of the reporter ...for the affection of the widow ...and not so looking at the civilian contract worker ...
Nevertheless he had contacted the major in charge of the secure area ...and the major said ..."don't worry he is one of mine"...and so the general took the report as well looked into ...
Yet the general knew not the goings on of the major or this civilian contract worker...
and was shown me that as the contract worker was afore treated very roughly by the military...and was sore vexed of being submitted to those who were lessor to him ...so he thought in his own mind ...
and that the military had broken his glasses ...so he could not see ...and then gave him a new pair ...of military glasses ...so he could see things that way the military would have him see ...and this to was a sore vexation to him ...
evenso of the major ...for he had similar afflictions ...thinking of himself to be so much the smarter than others ...yet subjected to ...rude authority ...
Nevertheless their devising ...this major and the civilian contract worker ...was not shown me ...
