And measures and matters of The Truth of the "time" we are in ...how "man" ..."thought to change time and times ... Dearly beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, how that one day is with the Lord, as a thousand year, and a thousand year as one day.
The Lord is not slack to fulfil his promise, as some men count slackness: but is patient to us ward, and would have no man lost, but would receive all men to repentance.
creteis@yahoo.com Behold in a dream during the dread nightmare of the dark season ...of the times and time ..of the season of man ...see son of man ...
and i was taken and shown a man and his son ...that had not seen each other for some time ...
and they were enjoying their time together ...
and they played a friendly game of seven card stud ...as the talked and laughed and told of times and adventures ...
Yet in the midst of the game the Mom called and needed the dad to come quickly ...
and so the dad said to his son ...let's get together again later TODAY.
and the son said ...oh yes i will follow soon after you ...
and so the son watched as his father went to help his mom ...
and the son began to walk after ...
and OFF TO THE LEFT ...there was an encampment of other young people with small trailers and tents hooked up to their jeeps or other small 4 wheel drives ...
and it even looked like a little campground all packed in together ...
and as the young man passed by ...he came to a little cafe ...like at the back of one of the little trailers ...
and the keepers of the cafe thought the young man was part of the encampment ...
and the cafe was serving chili ...so the young man asked for a little while he dung in his pockets for some change ...
and the server asked how much do you want ? and the young said ...let me see ...maybe just a cup ...as he checked to see how much change he had ...
then the young man said " Oh well "...find so little change he opened up his wallet and there was five dollars ...
and the server instantly gave the young man a huge bucket of chili ...
evenso the young man said "oh no no not so much" handing the bucket back ...
Yet the server said "OH NO you bought it " stuffing the whole five dollars in the register ...
Nevertheless the young man thought nothing of it ...for he was an amenable young man ...not willing to argue or fight over a bucket of chili ...
and they young man began to walk away from all that ...the other young people camping and thinking to escape ...
and the miserly mean merchants that followed upon them ...
even the whole life style ...
and as the young walked away ...a way ...he saw his parents ...
and the young man called after his parents ...
and his parents answered him as he followed upon them ...
and his parents said ..."OH we are just going to our office" ...
and the young man looked and through the windows of the business ...
and there were old dusty chairs and lamps and such that might be sold or auctioned off ...
namely just old things that had been used in the days before ...
and the old parent still hoped that any might still want he stuff ...
evenso the young man had it set in his heart to help his aging parents ...
and scripture came back to remembrance ...
THE GOSPELL OF ST. LUKE Chpt 15
Then resorted unto him all the publicans and sinners, for to hear him. And the Pharisees and Scribes murmured saying: He received to his company sinners, and eateth with them. Then put he forth this similitude to them saying: What man of you having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost until he find him? And when he hath found him, he putteth him on his shoulders with joy: And as soon as he cometh home, he calleth together his lovers and neighbours saying unto them: Rejoice with me for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more then over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Either what woman having ten *grotes, if she lose one, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently, till she find it? And when she hath found it she calleth her lovers and her neighbours saying: Rejoice with me, for I have found the grote which I had lost. Likewise I say unto you, joy is made in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
And he said: a certain man had two sons, and the younger of them said to his father: father, give me my part of the goods that to me belongeth. And he divided unto them his substance. And not long after, the younger son gathered all that he had together, and took his journey into a far country, and there he wasted his goods with riotous living. And when he had spent all that he had, there rose a great dearth through out all that same land, and he began to lack. And he went and clave to a citizen of that same country, which sent him to his field, to keep his swine. And he would fain have filled his belly with the cods that the swine ate: and no man gave him.
Then he came to him self and said: how many hired servants at my fathers have bread enough, and I die for hunger. I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him: father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee, and am no more worthy to be called thy son, make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose and went to his father. And when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him: father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But his father said to his servants: bringforth that best garment and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. And bring hither that fatted calf, and kill him, and let us eat and be merry: for this my son was dead, and is alive again, he was lost, and is now found. And they began to be merry. The elder brother was in the field, and when he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard minstrelsy and dancing, and called one of his servants, and asked what those things meant. And he said unto him: thy brother is come, and thy father had killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound. And he was angry, and would not go in. Then came his father out and entreated him. He answered and said to his father: Lo these many years have I done thee service, neither brake at any time thy commandment, and yet gavest thou me never so much as a kid to make merry with my lovers: but as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy goods with harlots, thou hast for his pleasure killed the fatted calf. And he said unto him: Son, thou wast ever with me, and all that I have is thine: it was meet that we should make merry and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again: and was lost, and is found*grotes : refers to grain; oats in Middle Eng
